I think a "thank you" thread is in order to thank all those who have put in a massive effort in bringing Coventry back to the Ricoh.

Let me start with thank you to:-

Simon Gilbert and the Coventry Telegraph
Michael and KCIC
SBT

Thank you

Rob from GCBTTR deserves a mention too. It wasn't just SISU (although i believe SISU were 90% accountable) who needed pressure on them to get something for the benefit of the club sorted and i think Rob did an exelent job in this. Thank you Rob and every one else already mentioned with a special mention to MO who worked harder than anyone else in keeping our plight in the public profile, Arsenal game being of special note.

Thanks for this but I will point out that I'm just the face of GCBTTR here on SBT, there's Stuart Cosgrove who started the whole thing and a whole bunch of others who have helped out along the way so I don't want to take anything away from them.

We've always said we are part of the wider fans protest agains this mess (can we call it 'that mess' now?) so my own personal thanks to absolutely everyone involved across all the groups and media. There'll be a statement later too. If I can stop grinning and actually type a decent sentence...

Thank you FL for releasing a statement so quickly, when they dragged their heels for so long and brushed obvious issues under the carpet and tried to con us they'd be discussed at board meetings. It's almost like they knew it'd happen, and inserted CCFC into a cut 'm paste statement beforehand...

Pains me to say but, he is right, and we need to let go now, and look onward.

Surely it should be all the wives and girlfriends thanking God for the fact all their other halves will be out of the house again and down the footie.

Not necessary, but thanks Mark.

All the fans, and groups who put pressure on all the parties, should really give themselves a pat on the back. I'm not sure we would be here if it wasn't for the rowdy supporters!

I think you all deserve a beer.

No doubt this will upset a few, but it seems to me that Steve Waggott had a lot to do with this. I get the feeling he's a football friendly, common-sense guy despite being employed by SISU.

ah a love in! Its nice to see for once!

I think it was great to see all of the other clubs including local rivals show messages of support during this shite time. We need to remember the support they gave us and repay that one day.

Thanks, Simon. The beer is chilling nicely in the fridge and there is a bottle of decent vodka in the freezer. A few bevvies tonight, I think.

Simon, would just like to add my thanks. As an out of towner your contributions on here, keeping us in touch with everything that has been going on, were invaluable. I hope this continues now we are back.

Also feel the campaign run by the CET has helped push this over the line.

Keep up the good work.

Stu, I'm not going to drive 120 miles to a party where I can't drink because of the drive back!

I'd like to thank those who took part in the boycott of Sixfields. I think your short-term pain brought long-term gain. Well done!

Id like to thank both parties for seeing sense from a business perspective that this could no longer carry on, this is a win for the people of Coventry weather you went to Northampton or not it made no difference... 1k fans or 12k fans + each game.. the maths made the difference in the end after SISU misjudged the outcome.

This is for the fans today no one else. Embrace and enjoy, we are all Sky Blues.

STEVEN PRESSLEYS SKY BLUE ARMMYY!!!
