Not so many. The Coventry Evening Telegraphs daily print run in 1972 was about 130,000. Today they print about 30,000.

The paper is shite but if someone places an ad why wouldnt they print it!??

I dont like Wasps being here but they are entitled to advertise their business as much as we are. Expect the news to be in a simialr vein over the next year or so.

I agree, it's just thrown together with many mistakes. Just a shame that it's happened that way and that our football team doesn't seem to be the predominant sport in the city any more. Maybe things will turn around eh?

Last night's central news sports story was about festers manager and there from the east Midlands no mention of ccfc game.

Didn't they run an ad for Asston Villa last season ?

Far more offensive to local footy fans I would have thought than an advert for Coventry's leading sports team?

What's shocking is people posting on here about how angry they are but no one organising a protest on Sunday. Aren't you one of Rob Stevens and Les Reid's mates. Very very sad times indeed.

Weren't Fisher and Waggot down in Brighton the other day to award Rob_S his campaign medal ? Perhaps they were planning a mass demo outside the Ricoh and all this talk of visiting the Amex was just a cover story? As I've suggested before, if the handful of zealots really are that outraged by the Council's failure to hand over the Ricoh to SISU then on Sunday they should make their last stand by the JH statue - donning bee keeper style hats, holding up placards with "Buzz Off Wasps" written on them, spraying cans of wasp repellent wildly above their heads for dramatic effect and perhaps take an effigy of Queen Ann with the word "TRAITOR" plastered on it. Simples and bound to get media coverage. ( Well I would film them and post on YouTube ).
