Be easier if they just said "We need to eat as well you know".

Still, Tony and Dongo will tell you it isn't happening and you are making conspiracies up.

I wouldn't tell you it isn't happening but if anyone listened to Nick spin you'd believe it's the only thing that is happening. You don't promote or seem to want to talk about the positive stories such as the rainbow laces or giving positive balanced support to the manager in the face of criticism from fans. You cherry pick the stories and if you don't do that you cherry pick a line and ignore the rest so you can say "anything to put the boot in". You even accused them of not promoting the JHL fund and I promptly went on there web site and found three separate stories where they have including one covering the launch which I'm fairly sure you've accused them in the past of not covering at all (apologies in advance if that is incorrect and I've mixed you up with someone else but someone definitely said they hadn't in the past and it's easy to assume it's you).

You seem to be saying that they should stop spinning and apply some balance. You might want to try giving it a go yourself sometime.

I'm just going to say it and expect a bit of abuse for it.

Their petition for Sisu to leave was also for clicks more than anything else.*

*i still signed it though

Do you mean like the post where I just said to Hill everybody is click baiting, not just the Telegraph. (Which he knows anyway).

They still haven't mentioned the tifosy campaign, which is what I was on about Where you can donate and get things back. I have never said they haven't mentioned the fund, I specifically ask about the tifosy stuff as it is online and can be pushed easier, yet when I mention it for some reason both you and Gilbert link to their original article over and over as if that explains all.

Them saying there is a legacy fund when it was launched is not what I am getting at, and you know it. There has been another mention of the fund in general recently to help sell some of Simon's books.

What about where I said to Simon if they could do a little article about how somebody can buy a signed ball or have their kids on the pitch then all the money goes to charity and I'd buy a signed ball myself and donate it to the JSBS to raffle off at the Xmas party or something?

The click bate thing will hurt them in the long run. I used to check their site pretty much every day but a combination of click bate, videos that play automatically and the volume adverts mean I don't anymore. If there's anything important it normally ends up on here before their site anyway.

They can deny it all they want but there's a Trinity Mirror document about their approach for local journalists floating about on the net somewhere. Its laid out in black and white that's what they want and that the staff are to create their own social media to push those links. TM track which journalists are generating the most traffic from social media.

It also had their pay scale for local journalists in which was shockingly bad.

Have to say the thing that really irritates when logging in to the CT site is the questionnaires that pop up, , plus the site takes an age to load and to be able to scroll through (though that might be the browser I use)

But so true. How many "lists" do the CT do? Five things you never knew about this, five things we've learnt about that.

I wonder what happens with the social media accounts, for example if Simon leaves the telegraph he has the FB / Twitter following.

He could potentially then work for somebody else and just promote them with his built up following.

What I don't get is why the fella is puckering up?

There was an article on there the other day about Black Friday deals and it was entirely Sky offers. Definitely not paid for by Sky. No mention of it being an advert either, and I'm sure it wasn't an advert.

There is nothing worse than when you go to click something, but at the last minute it moves and you end up clicking something else

Try running Malware Bytes Wingy and ccleaner, usually does the trick!
