No, because in fairness he isn't coming on under a dodgy name

There are maybe 3 at the minute, 2 of the others have left to go to the telegraph site

Very funny. He is paid to report on happenings in Cov and ran a campaign to get CCFC back in Cov. He won an award for that. What did you do? Can you name the shady ones with an agenda? I know one who posted a picture of a Wasps player ( a cardboard cut out of a Wasps player ) on a thread that had nothing to do with Wasps. It was so blatant thst Even he quickly removed it. I suspect an agenda there.

Nope, I posted that because the thread was talking about the CET bias. I then posted that and removed it and said sorry, if it wasn't Wasps I'd have kept it in there. It was an article saying how a Wasps player was backing the Coventry thing, he was backing it so much there was no comment from him, they were using a cardboard cutout with a photoshopped sign put into his hand. It was an example of a PR story.

I know of one who hasn't looked at any of the last 6 or 7 match threads, showed any interest in any of the football but is very vocal.

Who would that be? I missed Sunday as I was watching the match on Sky. Sorry about that, but I did read the discussion threads. Hope that is ok, Anyway, back to the question, who are the shady ones?

I thought the question was who comes on here that has an agenda. I gave my opinion. The fact he use his real name tells me nothing other than he is clearly comfortable with hypocrisy.

Judging by your posting history I think we have to agree to disagree.

You mean they don't fit your parameters of being a Coventry fan? Some people really are up their own arse...surely people can post on what thread they like and express what opinion they like as long as it is not abuse...even that with some posters gets ignored.

I think a few clearly are NOT Coventry fans, and it not that they dont fit a parameter.

See there's another article up on the CT site, this one saying SISU need to back TM or he will leave.

This from a paper who quoted an independent expert saying we couldn't compete above this level with our stadium situation.
So what they're basically saying is we should be run at a huge loss and rack up even more debt :jerkit:

This is basically an article written on the back of comments from a few nutters.

You couldn't make it up, could you? Oh, unfortunate turn of phrase there.

I don't feel any animosity towards the CET, after all its a business and these "click bait" stories keep them going. It does frustrate me however that they seem to insist on putting a downer on our success this season. Surely it would get as much notice if there was an opinion piece on why Mowbray should not consider moving?

To be fair it's an opinion piece by AT. It's not a bad piece apart from that it gives no solutions. Just adds more anti-sisu fuel to the fire.

A few, that is the nature of forums...but some on this forum consistently slag off Coventry fans and try to determine what a real Coventry fan should be. That is my objection. They moan that gates are low then moan about glory hunters when people turn up, a week doesnt go by without Coventry fans moaning about Coventry fans.

Have a look at people's posting and viewing habits.

Granted, a few of them seem to have gone off to the telegraph site now or the PR budget died down. (RIP bigfatronsba and sky blue john). There has just been a rebirth too by the looks of it....

Where would I stand legally if I named and shamed people? What about the person who I can't name who signed up to spread rumours? What about if people just sign in to talk / post about Wasps / CCC / SISU etc and don't bother at all with the football stuff (to read, let alone post)?

I totally understand not everybody posts football, a large chunk of members just come on to read every day and don't post anything at all. I don't doubt the PR companies etc read every thread.

Mowbray will be in demand he is doing an amazing job. I think the owners said the current financial model falls apart if we get promoted.
Mowbray gives me the impression he is quite honourable in his dealings.
However if there is no plan for how we make the current financial model work in the championship I wouldnt attack him if he had the opportunity to move onto a club whose financial model does work in the championship.
Let's hope the owners can convince him there is a plan to ensure we can compete in the championship. Maybe he can work miracles again with a higher standard of loanees?
I expect him to be linked to both championship and lower premiership jobs if he keeps doing what he is doing here. I don't think it is some crazy conspiracy.

Well, I was given information by PM that "might be usefull for my posts" - before it appeared in the CT. I put it down to ML Spin as it suited SISU at the time.

Allright Forum Police you are right if it makes you feel better.

I dont have the time to go through Posts to look at who is or who isnt.

Your life may need that certainty but mine doesnt and I have got better things to do. I presume Nick does too, like running Sky Blues talk for people who just moan on and on.

I agree. I didn't moan or make accusations. There have been plants, but I think that has died off for the time being. Wait til the JR.

Fair enough. I apologise if I came across a little harsh, it wasnt meant that way.

I think I will disconnect the Wifi at the time of the JR

Nick I would be surprised if people would sue you on here if you felt that they were only on here to do the PR for one side or the other. If they genuinely are they cant sue you. If they are not I am sure they would very easily be able to prove to you that they are not. If your rebirth comment was about myself for example I would be happy to let you know I few things that would hopefully convince you I don't work for the higgs charity, the council or any PR company. As for Sky Blue John you can't be serious he was a nice bloke but his comments would get him sacked in a day!!!!

I'd be shocked if they won, but there might need to be a big carpet to sweep anything that comes out under.

Been reading everything on here most days. Tried to login in most days as well ( as sad as that sounds) no reborning required. Still as passionate always felt that discussing the future and survival of the club was far moreimportant than discussing the matches themselves. No future = no match. Go to the matches as often as work allows me. Would bore the face off you discussing the team as I often do with my wife and friends. However it is not often in here currently people express opinions about the team that cause me to bite. Not like back in the Andy Thorn days . Always felt we would achieve no success when the agendas of the owners were not instrinickly linked to success on the pitch ( getting proved wrong on that front ) passionate enough to meet the owners face to face to discuss the club.
I believe the agenda of SISU and Council has probably been pushed on here at times. However so what we are all old enough and intelligent enough to debate it and make up our own minds.
