I love the bully analogy, fits so aptly and doesn't simplify anything. What we need to do go back in time and prevent Joy giving her younger self that Sports Almanac.

Les Reid has already said the poll results are irrelevant because people could vote multiple times and this has happened.

What was the point if doing the poll then.

Do you think if the results supported his second long article in Telegraph suggesting the Ricoh be sold to SISU the results would have been irrelevant?

I think it's fits nicely into why a lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of SISU buying the Ricoh 'on Joys terms'

I think anyone who doesn't realise that that is where a lot if people are at. Are either blinkered or naive

You maybe right
You may not be right

Get team relegated + Don't pay a legal debt + hold club to ransom (screwing the fans) = get the Ricoh at your price on your terms.

I guess this is the bit that sticks in some people's throats.

Do you bow to bullies and let them get their way or do you stand up to them.

Tough decision.........

I agree with thinking Dong because in life their is always two possibilities, right or wrong, yes or no, heads or tails, perhaps things will go tits up so badly we will be doomed and only a page in history books or maybe it will help the club establish itself and build once more, the way I am looking it staying in Northampton is only ruining things now and that is only more certainly to continue the longer we stay there, lets start over again in a stadium that was built for the Sky Blues in the hope of being successful again.

It's a simple vox pop that they do pretty often.

Long ago I was really really bored, so spent a happy day at work voting that Geoffrey Robinson's consortium was the best option to take us over, he ended up with a huge lead... that then mysteriously in the space of 5 minutes one day got slashed.

Again as per usual you do not answer the question properly. Read the question again, emphasis on the "HAVE" gives you a clue .......

As has been previously discussed, it is all well and good saying the "club and stadium need to be united" .......... will they ever be?

They always are published aren't they, like this one is.

They're never really meant as the base for a story though, they're just a local paper's attempt at introducing 'interactive' elements to engage its readership.

People are not concerned with the idea of the football club owning the stadium.
Most think that, that makes sense.

We are now in a position where some are saying Sell to SISU then if that makes sense.

However many are uncomfortable with this as SISU have got into this position by bullying business tactics and trying to hold the fans and the city to ransom.

People I think are uncomfortable with it from two perspectives

Do you reward such tactics?
Can they be trusted with it?

Some are crumbling and just want CCFC back and so don't care about the above.

The fact we have had no success for 12-13 years and now we finally have some is understandably turning some people who are missing out.

However it should not be forgotten it took to getting into division three before SISU found a level where their amount of investment can lead to success.

No they might never be united, but if the avenue is there shouldn't it be explored?

With regards to your first question, there is no reasons why we "HAVE" to sell, we could rent again from ACL because we all know how well that ended last time

You don't think that poll was on there to cement the authors opinion that a lot of Cov fans agree with his last two articles pushing for the Ricoh to be sold to SISU?

So if ACL/CCC offered the Ricoh to SISU tomorrow at what SISU would think is an acceptable offer, you would all say no would you? Obviously meaning we would be back at the Ricoh in Coventry which is what we all want isnt it???? Im sorry but I would say Yes to that. And before you go 'hi timmy' I am not pro sisu. I just want my club back in coventry.

Not at any cost. Fine if you want to use your council tax to gift a millionaire £60m, but I'm against state handouts for those who don't need it.

Also it will do nothing for the club but saddle them with debt, leading to our demise sooner rather than later.

A rental deal and part ownership of ACL is enough. Or if Sisu want the stadium they can pay for it with their money, not saddle the club with debt so Seppala makes a few quid.

I don't disagree with that.

However I genuinely think that Les thinks most CCFC fans agree with him.
I think he will have been, like a few in here surprised at this result.
Leading to an emphasis on pointing out the flaws in the poll.

There are flaws yet I think A professional poll would lead to the same result

I prefer to think that CCFC is the fans, and that Sisu are merely custodions of the club.

No. Not really anyone specific, but it's the old Godwin's law and similar in that you're never really far away from a bit of a mad reference. That's the way of the internet in general.

The poll is irrelevant with 'no' voters on this site bragging they have voted multiple times.

I don't think any poll is relevant whether it says 99% want us back or 99% don't. They aren't too hard to tamper so could be any sort of extremist playing with it.

On the same basis should the CT then be giving coverage to the recent get cov back to the ricoh petition. I'm doubt the likes of Cardoza and Fisher have really signed it so that is also easily manipulated as well so if Les Reid is saying the CT poll isn't worth reporting on why is he reporting on that?

Extremists, rival fans and people who are not fans full stop

Any other reason other than 'probably most of Cov either don't trust SISU or don't like the way they have bullied their way into this position?

So you don't think sisu will just do a glazier, and take out a mortgage on the stadium to buy the stadium then - using the potential earnings from the3 sale of the stadium as collateral - making the club (sisu are NOT ccfc - they merely hold the naming rights!) pay rent which covers the mortgage and a tidy profit for their investors.

I cannot believe people after everything sisu have done STILL cannot see this!
