Since we have been in league one out of all the players we have had, pick a team you think would take us up.

....................Murphy.............

Christie...... Willis Reda. Adams

I pick Southamptons current team. It's a direct comparison of what we could have won if SISU hadn't have saved us.

-----------Dunn
Brown--Malaga--Edjenguele--Kilbane
Bell----Thomas---Barton----Mcsheffrey
--------Ball------Philliskirk

Do I win?

Tried to fit in Barton, Elliott, Dickinson, Jordan, Reckord, Conor Henderson, Slager, Seaborne, Donelly, Manset, Mcgeouch, Urqhart, Delfouneso, Ecclestone but they didn't make the final cut

That's about right, mark robins was just starting something their. Struck gold with mcgoldrick but when his profile went up we was priced out of him, replaced him with Leon Clarke. Plus add Jordan willis, Arron Phillips, Ryan Haynes an Callum Wilson an would of been a good squad. Never mind hey!!

Yeah. He broke his nose like 47 times, including once against Swindon away.

But seriously, yeah, he did play for us in League One. He got a goal away at Stevenage.

Well I'm guessing they are putting him because Mcgoldrick is a better player than Clarke.

Yeah, but I'd say Clarke was better for us, and is someone we are in desperate need of.

Clarke 30 goals in 45 games = 0.67 goals per game (league 23 in 35 = 0.66 goals per game)
McGoldrick 17 goals in 25 = 0.68 goals per game (league - 16 in 22 = 0.73 goals per game)

It's really splitting hairs, but McGoldrick was more prolific in the league and instrumental in our revival, and a better player

Clarke did have Wilson and Moussa alongside him who were also scoring lots of goals.

DMC is the best striker we have had recently
However some suggested a Clarke, DMC Wilson trio
Perfect

The football league show should be renamed the 'Coventry City show' when they feature championship games.

Makes McGoldricks contribution even more impressive to that teams form.

They should introduce a segment called 'This is what you could have won', where they show how well all our ex players have done in their games
