I hope that's not Connor Thomas up front.

This team will change a lot before Wigan 8th August. 2 new good strikers I'm hoping.

If we signed Reda I would have three at the back and get Phillips and Haynes to attack attack attack.
I assume will sign a decent striker and if we signed some wingers I would go to 4-4-2.

On another point a bradford fan asked me today if Murphy was any good as they have in on trial. He was dubious of him saying if he was any good we would not need to have him on trial!!

Also Vincelot is not a sit deep player, he is a box to box player.. Fleck is less adventurous, but can see them alternating. Swanson, JOB and Maddison should provide movement and options. That is before we even consider pushing the likes of Phillips and Johnson forward.

But we will have three or four other options after a few games into the season.

How can people pick Johnson when he's not contracted to us?

All the above selections are decent, with 1 or 2 wingers and 2 strikers we will have a good go.

At moment that looks ok. I would have Johnson in middle and Willis on bench for now. Still would like an option up front

Have I missed Johnson renewing his contract? Or turning up for training?

Im sorry but Johnson will not be played left back if he signs

Mowbray will play him CB as a no nonsense defender. If he plays Left Back he is more prone to injury as this will involve more running

Tudgay can't play upfront on his own, he won't score anywhere near enough goals. He's a bit like Adebola in the sense that he will chip in with 10-12 goals, but his best attribute is being a good foil and helping his strike partner achieve 20-25 goals.

From the team I picked I would swap Swanson and Tudgay for new signings when/if they come.

One pre-match game and you right the kid off? Of course you must be a guy in the know, are you a football manager to make such sweeping statements?

I think Ricketts will play centre back so until we sign a new right back it's a toss up between Phillips and Willis, and Phillips offers more.

I like phillips, always impressed with him when he plays ( one or two bad games which for his age is normal). Lots of potential still too get better as well. miles ahead of say willis at right back which really isnt his position
