If we had to play a friendly tomorrow
I know Reda is only training with us but I guess he could be classed as a trialist.

Currently signed.

---------------------------RCC
Kelly-Evans - Willis - Harries - Stokes
-----------------Vincelot - Rose
--Jones ----------Gadzhev-------Lamieres
-----------------------Thomas

Kelly-evans is a Rightback not leftback
Haynes is not a winger
And Reda isnt signed and probably won't sign

Edit: forgot about Rose

I know Haynes is a LB cheers one if theEvans twins can cover At LB as well
I assume you didn't read my comment about Reda.

Now if you want to pick your starting 11 from what we have available that would probably be more useful

The other Kelly-Evans is a number 10. Yes I read your comments re: reda. Ricketts hasn't re-signed yet but was in training last week, tudguy wasnt. I didn't include them either.

Yes, I thought he did well, and seemed to be the only midfielder that showed any desire to make runs in behind the striker. He's definitely an asset.

Rose and Tudguy I knew I was missing people
I didn't include Fleck on the basis that he isn't even training with us.
Reda is training so he could feature in a friendly as a trialist.
Is Tudguy training with us and is Rickets.
As stated its the 11 you would put out if we had to play a match tomorrow.

Oh and ..........

Sky Blues Under-18s coach Jason Farndon added: “Devon has been extremely versatile, playing in every single position this year apart from in goal.

“He hasn’t moaned once and has shown great commitment to the cause. Hopefully Devon can kick on and get some game time in pre-season, much like he did last summer.

“Devon’s preferred position is as a left-midfield player, but his versatility and application will help him in his progression during his first year as a professional footballer.”

Both the old guard are training with us, so safe to assume they will sign..

As a result....

......................RCC............................
Willis.....Ricketts....Stokes......Haynes
Jones...Gadzhev..Vincelot...Lameries
----------Tudgay----Sordell---------------

Subs

Rose
K Thomas
G Thomas
the kids

Leon Clarke, a left winger and a decent centre back to allow stokes to play left back and we are then looking a serious threat

Would not surprise me if Vincelot plays RB next season and Rose is energy in midfield.

@ccfcway, what the feck have you done with Stokes, its only a 1 match ban he got?

Stokes is a better CB then LB

I wonder if TM will be tempted to play 3 CB's next season

Well Grendel is already the pantomime villain.

He is twirling his wispy handlebar moustache as we very speak.

Willis at RB has never filled me with much confidence. Think TM would be safer bringing a more established name in

Willis is a centre back and that's where I think he'll play who alongside is any bodies guess I think the state of our squad at the moment is a bit of a worry, but a month to go yet and I expect a number of more to sign yet and then there's loanees too. We need to get lucky with our strike force thoigh

I'm sure I heard someone (possibly Kieron Crowley) say that Ricketts was being retained as a CB option. That would indicate that Willis will be playing right back in a 4-at-the-back formation... Unless TM signs a first choice right back and uses DKE as reserve

I see those who did a draft of a team all went with 4 at the back. Be interesting to see if TM starts the season how he finishes last year playing 3 at the back with 2 wing backs pushing higher up the pitch.

I chose 4 due to the lack of defenders we currently have however I could easily see it as three.
With Stokes as the left of those three.
