I think although TM is a decent manager, he clearly lacks the ability to lift/encourage/enthuse players who are deflated. I firmly believe we need an addition to the coaching staff who jason experience and proven skill in this, we have seen good games from most of our current players so if we had a true motivator I think it would solve the slump in morale/motivation most of our players are experiencing just now........(hope Anderson) reads this

The money they are earning and the possibility of promotion should be motivation enough. They are professional football players not schoolboys. The time for a psychologist is before they are signed to determine if we even want them.

All professional sports people hit troughs at times so someone who can lift morale and remotivate is equally as important as the physical side of the game......on hindsight perhaps psychologist is the wrong term, more of a coaching staff member who can understand the cause/root of a slump in form and has the skills and experience to address it correctly as its bloody obvious TM or any of the present coaching staff lack the needed skills

No they just need a good kick up the ass. They get everything they need it's now upto them in these final lot of games. They have got to question themselves, how much does it mean to them. No question in terms of ability the squad is up there, but at the moment lacking the motivation, grit and determination. I remain positive we can make the play offs.

"No question in terms of ability the sqaud is up there, but at the moment lacking the motivation" which is exactly my point, so we need somebody skilled in finding the cause of lack of motivation and then to help those who need to overcome this which will bring out the full potential of the team

You act like they are cheap and easy to get? If we don't have budget for a 40 year old keeper, why would we have the budget for a psychologist. They are extremely expensive. And how do you know Mowbray can't motivate the players? There is a difference in motivation and confidence, would say bar Fleetwood, we have worked our arses off and been motivated, just haven't won. Bringing in a psychologist won't bring back confidence. If Mowbray can't motivate he shouldn't manage. It is perhaps one of the most fundamental if not the most fundamental skills for being a manager.
We aren't a premier league club we don't have the budget for this type of addition to the coaching team. Bloody hell we don't even have an assistant manager.

I would imagine the way fans were getting on at Murphy on Saturday didn't help his morale/motivation either.

That would motivate a good player to put in some extra practice and improve. Of course a player with no backbone would just go off and sulk.

The way he has being playing hasn't helped the morale/motivation of the fans either. This is a two way street Torch.
