Is the 40 or so championship appearances for most of the squad the main reason for our improvement?

Confidence is key I reckon

Nobody has mentioned we've also got a new first team coach

You could tell by the end of last season the players felt more at home in this league and we’ve carried on that fine form

What has happened to Allen? He is the Transformed Man. Preseason there were rumours he was off to Rotherham and I wouldn't have missed him. But now? He is immense.

I thought he was actually unlucky last season...he would have a good game ..and then be dropped for Shipley.

He wanted to play and would have left if the club wanted him to go
But he got his head down, worked hard and eventually got a chance to break back into the team

And wow, hasn't he grabbed the chance with both hands. He's fantastic.

It’s exactly how it should be. Work hard, train well, get a chance and then keep the shirt. Fair fucks to him

Not the Bournemouth keeper today. 2 shots 0 on target in the whole game.

Remember when we used to talk about how we had nothing in finall third? Even in double promotion seasons we were hardly free flowing

Now we seem to have 10 shots on target a game. Well feels like that anyway

Since the Bristol city game at the end of last season, our form has been that of promotion contenders. 5 wins and a draw from the final 8, and 4 from 6 so far this term. Confidence and belief, the return of the fans, our homecoming and added quality in the squad have all contributed to where we are currently and where we hopefully end up if progress is maintained.

Our journey over the past 4 or 5 years has been simply incredible. We’ve never stood still and made significant progress each season. Football’s a funny old game and can change very quickly. Personally I’m going to savour every moment. Robins and Adi have given us a lifetime’s worth of memories after a turgid 15 years of nothingness.

Atmosphere is incredible. Usually away fans make noise. The atmosphere from the sba is unreal

In the first 12 years at that ground I swear I probably enjoyed three games and more often than not left each game saying how crap every aspect of the game was. As I walked out today you could feel the buzz about the place and how much everyone had loved it. The whole matchday experience seems better - even just having a few bars that people go to before the game now have added to it all. Those who are going at the min you sense can't wait to come back... And I hope the crowds continue to grow!

Moore is a steal.
Keeping Hamer and getting his head on the right way was important.
Rose fit adding pressure to Hyam and Macfazden is working.
2 loans are only going to get better and I think they have started pretty well.
Today bench looks strong, Sheaf, Kelly and Allen fighting for spots
Shipley, Decosta are on the step nearest exit and that is natural progression in improving a squad. No sentiment.
Viktor is a good signing plenty of improvement yet in him.

But MR, is the most improved manager in league football. His philosophy suits the new coach style and now he has player's of the ability to implement instruction.

Confidence around the club is visible in the stand and that is spilling onto players. This group is the closet i have ever seen to a fan base. 87 squad were good but these are creating interest and excitement not seen for a long time. It's getting to the point when wins like today are not a shock but quietly expected.

Robins has improved and backed his players who are responding and more confident in themselves after a season in the division backed up by the new signings so no need for a taxi G.

This is like one of those motivational speeches you get at conferences….culminating in a rousing finish and a standing ovation. Good post sir

Yep he was quiet rather than poor early season, then started to grow into it only to be dropped. I'd actually thought *he* must have fallen out with Robins but, even if that was the case, he's clearly shown the right attitude.

Never underestimate a player in his last year of contract.

I think alot of players in the championship have had a reality check.

Starting to feel a bit like our trips to Wembley with the buzz and atmosphere oh boy do we deserve it after all the years of hurt we suffered. Anyone got pics of joy at the game was she in sky blue?

I don't think being in the last year of his contract has anything to do with it. No-one can fault his effort on the pitch last season. He always gave his all. As has been mentioned though he started finding his form but then was rarely utilised. He now has more confidence about him. I hope Robins rewards him with a start again on Wednesday.

Also don’t forget the back room staff.

Adi V & now the equally talented Big D are very much part of the reason we are doing so well.
