Two yellows wasn't it. One match ban.
Straight red is three games.

One thing I felt on Saturday is we moved forward a lot quicker with Barton and Coulibaly, Fleck and Thomas just seem to slow things down so much. the main problem is we have no bite up front or even in midfield.....oh how we could use a player like Cattermole or Michael Brown, nasty little feckers who can win a ball and piss off other teams. Don't suppose Pressley has got much choice who he selects tho, so more of the same and wait for the aftermatch interview.

I don't like any player being injured, but with Pugh out I'm glad Haynes will be starting again as I think he offers so much more attacking intent.

I would go with:

Allsopp
Phillips
Haynes
Hines (If fit)
Webster
Willis
Maddison
Fleck
O'Brien
Miller
Jackson

Unfortunatley i just cant see Pressley dropping this crappy formation any time soon. It could end up costing him his job. And has anybody else noticed Pressley never plays Haynes and Phillips in the same team?

A midfield of O'Brien, Barton and Maddison looks incredibly lightweight.

If injury issues remain as they were Saturday, I would go for

Allsop

Phillips Willis Webster Clarke Haynes

O'Brien Thomas Finch

Miller/McQuoid Jackson

You only get 3 games if it is serious foul play or violent conduct

Pressley keeps saying that if the young players are good enough then they will play. OUr league position tells us all we need to know about the abaility of our young players

What about their league position? U18s top of the league with only one loss all season.

Is there a team for tonight? We're still in the motorway and the team usually behind! Loads of traffic and feels longer than a 3 hour journey

Interesting as SP saying he will pick our most committed players tonight, those who would "die on the pitch for the club". Lawton to make his debut?

Edit: Just seen team. GO ON MADDERZ!!!!!! :claping hands:

Does worry greatly about that midfield 3. Looks incredibly lightweight and lacks any degree of strength or muscle, but am happy Maddison is in.

Maybe he might play in the hole just behind Miller.

Perhaps Hines in midfield 4 4 2?

Surely it's just Miller up front? With Maddison playing behind him?

Would have preferred to see Maddison in the hole behind two strikers with two holding midfielders behind them.

Aidan McCartney ‏@aidanmccartney 6m6 minutes ago Pressley changing formation again as #skyblues try to rediscover some form. 3-5-1-1 today with Miller up-top, Maddison behind. Risky.

You can hardly even call that a change of formation

Don't think Miller up top and Maddison behind is risky. It's the midfield of O'Brien, Fleck and Barton that is the big gamble and worries me.

No-one in their right mind would buy that useless fucker. We would have to pay someone to take him off our hands.

1-0 down. Allsopp caught again. Might have been expecting it to go the other way, but I think should have done better

Then again the ball over the top to their man shouldn't have been allowed to get past us either

One up top is about as effective as 3 at the back for us I say.
