Stick with 4 at the back in my opinion.

Just Pask for Dabo and 4-4-2. Wouldn’t change a winning team.

Same team that started last night, with the exception of Pask in for Dabo. I know McFadzdean is having a good season, but I wouldn’t change a winning team.

The winning team ended with a substitute scoring and making a real impact?

I'd stick with the same system as last night. Felt more solid at the back to me with more threat going forward, albeit against a poor team.

I would keep Allen as an impact sub, he will chase everything when the opposition players are tiring.

You do have to put into context, 1 nil up, Sheffield having to come out and be more open leaving gaps, tired legs.

Not saying he didn't do well, but it is about context. Same with Baka's cameo.

Pask did well, but is Dacosta injured? I'd rather see him in there, particularly if he does revert to a back 3 again. If 442 then either is fine.

Gotta stick as close as possible to yesterday’s team. Either Pask for Dabo or Fadz for Dabo with Ostigard in at full back. Other than that no changes should be contemplated

I think I'd stick with 4 at the back.

Our biggest attacking threat is usually our wing backs but if Dabo is injured, as seems likely, then I don't think we want Pask being one of our main attacking outlets. He's much better as a right back than wing back.

Wednesday have taken 10 points from the last 5 games, including last night's result.

When he was initially brought in it was as competition for Dabo. Personally see him long term as more of a centre back but atm has versatility to cover RB and possibly even DCM if necessary.

Same starting line up as last night, but Pask for Dabo and potentially Baka in for Biamou.

Allen unlucky to not start but happy for him to add fresh legs later on

Same team with Pask for Dabo , de costa should be back training , but thought Pask did well as right back with his height as well to justify keeping place I heard fadz could be out for a couple of weeks but rose could make bench saturday
The only other consideration is Allen in for sheaf

Dabo certain to be out, the flat back four worked and Pask is a better at full back than wing back imo. Keep the same team only question for me Sheaf or Allen think I’d start with Sheaf.
Managers choice Marosi or Wilson for me Marosi is our number one.

Surely we wil have to put newton on the bench sat, was suprised he wasnt in the squad yesterday given we have nobody who can play leftback except Mcallum.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I'd try Baka on the basis of him looking a bit fresher for his cameo, then can alternate him and Max during the busy run of games. Maybe give one an hour, then let the other bust a gut for for the last 30 mins.

Yeah I agree.
Didn't think Max was awful last night but he looked absolutely knackered whereas Baka had some energy and stretched play a bit more

Looked like a narrow 4-3-3 for the most part I thought

4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 doesn't matter which in reality

Wilson/Marosi: (No fussed either way)

Pask-Ost-MacF-Sam Mac: (Pask deserves the nod)

James-Sheaf-Hamer: (Sheaf to play in front of the back 4)

O'Hare-Victor-Allen.

Did a long post on another thread explaining the logic, which it looks like a lot of people saw, so won't reprint it.

But I'd do the above

The selection was basically 4 4 2 though the actual formation was more fluid.

My take was that VG was playing left midfield out of possession and striker in possession, so 451 transitioning to 442. And VG certainly seems to have the engine on him to play that role. Thought it was a very astute tactic tbf.

That was my reading of it but on a basic level we picked 4 defenders 4 midfielders and two strikers.

I think it was more 4-3-3 or
4-3-2-1

Yeah. Like a 4-1-4-1 when defending & a fluid 4-3-3 when attacking with Gyokeres & particularly O'Hare given quite a bit of freedom.
Massive credit to those 2, you could see they really busted a gut to get back into position as soon as possession was turned over.

Look at Gyokeres (12) average position & the majority of his touches were on the left flank too (including some good defensive work).
No way was he "up top" in a traditional sense:

We need to keep with two recognised forwards on the pitch again. We look a far more dangerous team trying to win games, surprisingly.

Why would he drop Wilson when Wilson kept a clean sheet against Wednesday
