Highest points tally since 3 for a win, first top six finish in a gazillion years and all in the face of adversity.

I loved him, then fell out of love with him a little bit and have now fallen madly back in love with him again.

Hoping to take him on a lovely romantic Caribbean cruise in the summer.

Didn't Slade get us to Wembley last year?

Either way bring on the 28th!

I’ll admit I had reservations earlier in the season, never called for his head but what was being dished up the first months of the season was difficult to accept. We have slowly improved since Xmas play more openly and apart from that freaky Yeovil match and our early surrender v Accrington we are a much better put together team now. Not in division 1 yet but whatever happens at Wembley, that’s just one game, I think we are a decent team with hope.

Took a while to find out best 11 along with style of play, but since Xmas we have really hit the ground running. If only we’d replicated the form during the 1st half of the season, we’d have walked the league.

Should be oozing with confidence next week but whatever happens, I pray that we keep the nucleus of this squad together, there’s a real togetherness and harmony in the group. We could be on to something very special.

Yes-the togetherness is the squad I haven't seen for along time. Possibly not since the Dublin/Whelen/Huckerby Prem team.

People forget this is a side with a lot of young players. It has taken time for them to gel and develop. It has been steady progress through the season.

Some fans are total drama queens who just follow the ball and want it forward as quickly as possible. Some are very one dimensional when they judge players.
