Next year. When he arrived in 23 with Milan, Wright, Simms, etc he only got three years, they all got four.

If we get promoted this contract becomes relative peanuts financially.

It's a good decision for the club. Sakamoto is a very decent option at this level and currently the only player in the squad who looks comfortable in that right wing position.

Think he’d be a good option from the bench but worst case, plenty of championship teams would buy him for more than the 1.3 million spent

It makes sense getting him to sign a new extended contarct because we can potentially sell him for a little more. Don't get me wrong I quite like him but if he was quicker I think he would be a better asset

Good. If sell can get a fed but he is a very useful player for us. Just needs some competition at RW for rest and rotation etc

Very pleased for him. On a personal level to come here and make such a change must be very difficult with the language, but you can really see how hard he has worked to settle in. He can be a menace on his day, so I hope we will see many of those to come.

Good. Has really shored up that right hand side and MVE has improved as a result.
Sometimes I feel he really just needs to go for it rather than turning back.
At his best he is awesome.

Pleased as he is a good player to have around. Needs some competition though as we over play him, same as MVE.

Hope the coaches are working with him and telling him he doesn't always have to beat his man twice, you cancross with both feet. Don't try and cut inside all the time! At times too predictable and doesn't trouble the better defenders. Hardly had a look in v Sheffield United and Burnley (EMC and Torp equally as anonymous).

I do like Tats work rate though. You can never fault his effort.
