I personally think he should be given the full 3 years ..our aim being playoffs promotion next season or promotion the season after..
He has a squad and staff he may not want in full..
We need to back him and I would be happy if he pulled in 65 out of the 117 points left to play for this season.would see us finish slightly above mid table.
PUSB
I am sure they said on CWR on Saturday that our wage bill is over 3.5 million, whilst Tranmeres is around 1 million, we pay three times as much for lower quality goods!
Think higher than mid table this year push for play offs towards end
Promotion next year
Survival in championship
There the targets I would set personally, with the hand he's been dealt so early in the season being rock bottom it would be a miracle to go up but I think we should be having an outside shot of play offs in last 10 or so, there's always one late comer to the play offs a team that sneaks in. Anyway I'll be happy with 12th or above this year
I dont see why we cant still be promoted this season. Its still early days and there's plenty of points to play for. If Robins can get the team playing to there potential (bham game) then Promotion is still within our grasp.
We need to get a little run going, and once our confidence bulids we will be a decent side.
Yes it is still possible to get into the play offs, the next 6 games are crucial, if we can emerge with at least 10 more points from them then I think the ship will have been steadied & there is a platform for a reasonable season.
Evans - At the forum Fisher was very careful not to say funding was in place for 3 years, what he said was that SISU had agreed to a three year plan but wouldn't say what that plan was. A plan is just that - a plan - what happens if it goes wrong? What if year one is "Get Promotion" year two is "Get Promotion" year 3 is "win Champions League" investment planned 37p per year. Thats a plan - not a very realistic one but its a plan. If we don't get promoted this year does anyone really believe SISU will continue to pour money into this club?
i think he will be the first cov managers in ages to get full 3 years
i think we will be right up there in promotion mix by end of season
i liked his line about no matter how long it takes by time robins leaves cov will be where they want to be(which he seemed to all ude to the prem status)
