Andy Williams striker 31 from Donny who we were rumoured to be in for earlier this season has signed for Northampton on a free.

Quite a few players signing already.

We waiting till we know what division we’re in before we sign anyone am presuming.

Keep the bulk of the team together. may lose one, possibly two - but have Andreu, Jones and Westbrook. Whichever league we are in, we will have a strong base to go from. I actually think we may start stronger if we are promoted, as the players will be on a high/positive, whereas if it goes pear shaped in the final, with a shortened summer break and a disappointment to get over, the first few weeks could be a bit tricky to handle. Here's hoping!

Why would we want to sign another journeyman who has been out for a season?

Burton just got relegated. We should be trying to get Ben Turner back. But on a permanent.

Not sure we can compete with what they paid him from Cardiff.

Notts county have just released Johnathan Forte!

Now there is a player worth talking about this summer for our transfer list.

He was a target last season, not really the same as somebody we are after now is it?

Sorry was doing the Nick thing where I ask a question as a way of saying “what you on about?”

Very surprising! He played v well against us in the last 3 games! But he is getting on a bit and with only 10 goals this season, I wouldn’t consider signing if we get promoted.

Agreed Forte looks a real handful. Re-further above, I am not sure we need another CH, it is the one area we are blessed in

to be fair, he wouldn't sign for us anyway. Talk is he prefers sitting at home watching a 2012 Pixar film about Princess Merida.

That's right, Forte favours the "brave"

It's not about names (Baker who couldn't offer us anything) it is about signing talent, Biamou is a good example...who has grown with the season. It is about mixing old heads with new heads and allowing time for things to develop. Doyle and Kelly both good signings. Vincent could still come good.

Players have bought into our system even though it might have taken time to learn it...progress can be slow and steady....but we are in a good place with Robins. However a duff result at Wembley will unfortunately bring out the lynch brigade...but I am hoping onwards and upwards.

He would still be the best centre half in league imo. Better version of Rod, bigger and stronger and superb in the air.

Not sure we can compete with the wages he would be on at Burton. Little old Burton hey. Jeez

Ned to be retaining players first and foremost, let the dust settle on this season and see where we are. If we kick off in August with Andreu, JJ, Bayliss, McNulty and Davies Ill me more than happy and very excited no matter which league we are in. This is an attacking 5 that would do some damage in L1
Jones Bayliss Andreu
Biamou McNulty

Don't think we are after Turner, and it is an area we have good players...BUT he would be an improvement on present group, so should go for him.

Provided we could get him without damaging the budget too much, he would be an excellent signing.

Turner if in budget would be a great signing.
