Can't remember, it was a long time ago but did we get a fee for him?

You can bet your bottom dollar that the day the takeover is due to happen will be the same day some soothsayer has predicted as being the end of the world and got it right.

Guessing on the timescale as I know nothing about that.

Nothing important. I don't know anymore and won't say anything else. Just thought I'd share with those who say its all bollox that it isn't and things are happening.

No point really trying to speculate though, it'll happen when it happens. We should probably all forget it for now and focus on backing the team and trying to survive.

Interesting how things have been put on the back burner, takeovers, Sisu out, etc, etc. even Tim Fisher is doing a half decent job according to some on here, if that is right what would a bad job be ? This is because there is still a glimmer of hope in staying up and that is the one thing that pacifys supporters, hope, once that has gone i assure you once our fate is more or less sealed or things look hopeless the wrath of the fans will turn to who they see as the culprits, Fisher, Sisu, Thorn, Sammy Clingan, all in the frame. I still predict a Strachan type demo (remember Everton on that Tuesday night) to come

If I was a potential investor having been "chatted up" by GH, I would look at what connected with CCFC could be a money maker. It certainly is not the football club ! Has anybody thought that CCFC might only be a relatively minor part of what is being discussed ? Might they be discussing the ownership of the stadium, and the possible development of areas surrounding the Ricoh ? If so, I can understand why it would be a lengthy process, involving detailed business plans, and requiring the Council planners to agree to development proposals. To put a package together which could satisfy an investor who obviously wants to make money, and also provide a sustainable future for CCFC is a long way from being a straightforward matter. That is before you get to sort out financial issues with SISU.

If the above is correct, it will be worth the wait for everything to be agreed.

If the above doesn't happen, I fear we will have to carry on as we are now, and find a level we can operate at without losing money (if that is possible)

Clearly if anyone investor has any interest ownership of the other assets is the key. Then, however, it is a major purchase probably financed through loans rather than hard cash which then makes the amount invested into the playing side questionable.

It's odd how people regularly have all this secret information from trusted sources, yet they always seem to contradict each other.

The Chinese love gambling and the Casino would be of huge interest?. Cannot think of any other reason.

Why would a Thai investor buy Leicester?

Why would a German billionaire buy League 1 Southampton?

People need to stop putting their football club down.

I can't for the life of me think why shitsu would want to keep us? What do they want?

Let's play Devils advocate here....

If I had brought a house, when it came to selling I would want all my money back,

if I couldn't get every penny and I didn't have to sell, I properly wouldn't sell and would rent it out.

Thus, for them to want investors coming in makes sense from their perspective, no?

The real question is over valuation of the club and that has to be where GH, his consortium and SISU disagree, IMO

Difference here is that nearly every single football club loses money. Houses usually over time increase in value.

Well, I mean houses figuratively. It could be anything and if you place an unrealistic value upon in then, it may never be sold.
