Talks continuing

According to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire on Saturday, talks are continuing between Gary Hoffman's consortium and Coventry City's owners SISU Capital Ltd.

Stuart Linnell announced that he understood the talks about what is a highly complicated business involving a number of agencies and people spread around the world, especially SISU Directors such as Hong Kong based Weai Hunt Yap to be on-going.

Heard Stuart Linnell say this himself on the air yesterday.

If it does all happen it has to be too late to save us from the dreaded drop for sure.

These things can be very protracted.

and to be fair, this has only been going on a few weeks. Ignore the last takeover talk. That turned out to be nothing. A bid of £1 that was thrown out immediately.

The final nail has been long since nailed into the coffin. Any takeover that is done has to be with the aim of performing a Man City, Southampton or Norwich style rise straight back up the leagues.

I sense this will not be the case however as it requires brave owners a great manager and a slice of luck.

Having bought business myself a lot lot smaller than the club, I kno for a fact it takes a minimum of 2-3 months to complete all the legal crap. That's after all the haggling. So if it's true( which I seriously doubt) don't expect anything before the end of the season!!!!

Wouldn't Hoff have done a lot of the work prior to his previous "bid"? Genuine question I don't know how it works.

Still convinced he doesn't want the club till after March.

He? Hoff is not buying the club. He is attempting to get investors to buy out club. He is just brokering the deal. This is what he is good at. He is not mega rich himself.
