Its the fans fault, we are running even, Tim doesnt take a wage, new stadium on way, one of the top 3rd budgets in league**Please put a division here...** "Let me make it clear...." Sisu and CCFC are different entities and 5 things we know about SG.

Agree 100% with where SISU have taken us, but let's not pretend that they took us from the '87 cup winners position to here - the slide had already started (albeit we were in a much healthier position when they took over). Breaking even should not be a criticism either, the rest, however, should be.

Part of me thinks you're not as enthusiastic about it as your exclamation marks suggest.

Elated! Back to where we were when I had been a supporter for just six years, age 16 then!

30 years ago we were in division 1, next season we'll be in division 2. Not that much of a drop.

Unfortunately there were others that had contributed to this matter at hand! Spending beyond our means for years then THAT decision to move us to the Ricoh which dropped the nail in the coffin....

But the proposed move to the new ground now known as the Ricoh was very popular at the time and objectors like me then on gmk were slagged off by the "experts" on there, sad to say virtually all my reservations have come true.

Only because of the deal set up by the council.

Others have moved to new grounds and succeeded - the council should have stopped the project and bought back Highfield road and rented it back to the club at a low rent.

Fat chance they'd do that though.

It's easy to forget that Highfield Rd held about 22000, and some of that was restricted view, we were in the Premiership when the decision was made to move, and Highfield Rd was not up to the standards of many Premiership grounds.

I have no issue with the ground itself albeit the fact that we rarely filled HR so wasn't a major requirement. The main issue was that HR was sold from underneath us and there was zero commercial plan for the new ground.
