TACTICS (2) - Playing Time Out (2 Viewers)

Why are we so incapable of seeing time out when we are winning/drawing in additional time.

We seem to invite the opposition to bombard us with wave after wave of attacks by backing off or surrendering the ball.

Conversely the opposition in the same circumstances play keep ball in their own half or play into the corner flags to waste time.

If they can do it why can't we - this lack of discipline could cost us our place in the Championship - it's got to be sorted as a matter of urgency.

Yea it really annoyed me when Murphy and Hussey had acres of time on Saturday and just hoofed it forward out of play for a throw in to Burnley.

we went too defensive when we went down to 10 men on Saturday and seemed scared to come out of our own half a tactic that cost us dear!

we will learn as the youngsters will start to show the old pro's how it should be done as some older players dont seem capable of showing the young guns anything :slap::slap::slap:

Actually guys did we not 'bombard' the Leeds defence toward the end of the game and they conceded? That's familiar for a lot of teams but we seem to be on the receiving end more often than not!
