Couldnt care what stats, drawings you see

you watch football as and when it happens

anyone watching that yesterday could see how disjointed, lethargic and pedestrianised our football was

Now dust settled and I’m less emotional, 1st half was “ok” - however we had some very good chances - simms has to score one of his and wright maybe. Changes game then…..

however the 2nd half was criminal - not helped with what felt like robins and all his coaches just trying anything without any thought. We got outclassed tactically 2nd half. Shown up badly.

body language and basics were missing from players also in 2nd half.

some have debated formation - don’t think that’s issue so much now, just application from players and clearly midfield is issue.

Dovin didn’t have a save to make,

Pray we dip into free transfer market - Stuart Armstrong being one.

let’s pray sheaf gets fit to lead us out at Watford, will solve a few issues. Then players need to stand up more, we are such a soft passive team. Really need a nasty bastard.

pressure is starting to mount, don’t think if we take until November to get going will be allowed again.

It’s there within the team, just needs a bit of a reset and unlocking - we saw it pre season and the players haven’t got shit over night.

I think that simply just stringing 3 consecutive passes together in quick succession is enough to create momentum in a game sometimes to take the team forward, and that’s something we couldn’t do yesterday. It’s part of the reason why I’ve been banging on about playing JD instead of Bidwell, he’s a dead piece on the chessboard when you’re in possession and building. Often things will end with him and it kills a moment when momentum can build.

Yeah, it was a tight hard-fought game, as they all are bound to be in a league where every team is shelling out millions on players' wages.

If their shot had been deflected wide, and one of ours had snuck under the keeper for a 1-0 win, I guarantee this forum would have been all about how we ground out 3 points without our best midfielder, with the playoffs or even the autos still in our sights.

No. If we played the same and somehow flukes a win this forum would still be wondering how we won with one of the worst 45 mins of football Robins has ever produced.

Tbf that game control index is bollocks, Norwich completely controlled the first 20+ minutes of the second half, dominated possession and looked like they had 2 extra players at times with the ease they played through our press.

Even Robins said we were terrible.

The performance was lethargic. no tempo, slow and pedestrianised

as have been every early ko so far

this sleep expert must be sending them to sleep an hour before kick off

there was no real urgency in the game saturday

you clutching at straws here?

Norwich were the better team by far

they looked more dangerous going forward, finding players in space. we were our usual tap tap, sideways backwards approach

I wonder if Binks could be an option at left back? He has the ball playing skills and it frees up LCB for Kitching to come back in.

Then it probably has to be Da Silva with Bidwell looking so out of form.

That’s the problem, he also has shortcomings that need addressing, but at the moment we need the forward momentum he provides.

It’s frustrating the whole team just seems so disjointed puts Clarke on the right where he clearly struggles, looked better on the left which is why we signed him, not sure why lati’s playing centre half when we’ve got kitching and Thomas sat on the bench, clearly can’t play the system we are without sheaf, needs to change it until he’s back, there’s very good team there, just need to find it, back 3 possibly, if sakamoto is out for a bit could play Mve on the right like the wolves game, worked well, first bit of pressure robins is under, time to find out how good he really is

For whatever reason, we've looked better playing a counter-attacking style than a ball retention / control approach over the last few seasons. I can see us reverting back to type in a few games time, especially with the pace in the team.

The disjointed bit was spot on but he was the man to sort it out and didn't.In the second half we played like a team that had been on the piss the night before, second to every ball they just walked though us when they had a mind to.Most of the time they just treated it like a training session waiting till approached and moving the ball on.

Surely with the players we’ve brought in robbins wants us to be a counter attacking team, but we haven’t got players who move the ball quick enough, felt sorry for simms, if we’re going one up front again he’s going to struggle in that side, can see Bassette starting the next game, nothing against simms I like him, just Bassette gets about a bit more, we’ll get better just frustrating it’s the same old start again, it always costs us

We were much the better team 1st half

And Simms wasn't a half chance , he had to be composed and slot it past the keeper , simple basic stuff

To be fair if we’d of put our chances away, simms definitely and wrights was straight at the keeper, we could of been 2 up but we never looked like winning that game, which is worrying at home, we actually looked scared to get on the ball,

Simms had at least 3 decent chances first half. One from the left when he was through and poked it wide. One really good headed chance he mistimed. And one from the right.

Bidwell isn’t out of form. Bidwell is doing what Bidwell does.

Average at defending, poor in possession.
