Tend to agree, but the Play Offs resulted in promotion for us. Why not have a play off for the third relegation place too ? Not complaining as we got promoted but would have been pissed off had we finished fourth and lost in the Play Offs to a team finishing below us with fewer points over 46 games. Sky and money !I do feel for the fans of these two clubs as in both cases they were well clear in points of their opponents,as many people have said on this forum the season is over 46 games not one.
Given if the situation had been reversed I for one would not have been happy.
This is all down to the greed which has entered the game, and in some ways to the detriment.
Regards,

They used to include relegated teams but I think after a fracas at Charlton vs Leeds it was stopped.
What happened G?
I think Charlton got away with it two years on the trot which must have shredded their supporters nerves to bits. Can't recall any major trouble between the Charlton & Leeds fans but, if there's a poor result and Leeds are involved in it, their fans are going to kick off. Can’t find any trouble in the reports so perhaps not but they did play in a final - it used to be two legs and included the team in a league above
Boro v chelsea 88 there was loads of trouble. Can’t find any trouble in the reports so perhaps not but they did play in a final - it used to be two legs and included the team in a league above
Feel a bit for Shrews in regard to missing out on automatics, but the play offs are what they are and keep the league interesting.
As for Exeter; only in the sense that they have lost two finals in a row - but rather them than us in regard to Monday.
To be blunt, and this doesn’t make for a good reading for the Exeter fans... If they’ve missed out on automatic promotion, and lost two playoff finals in consecutive season, then clearly they aren’t ready for L1.
Oh I get that -just a bit of sympathy for the fans that's allTo be blunt, and this doesn’t make for a good reading for the Exeter fans... If they’ve missed out on automatic promotion, and lost two playoff finals in consecutive season, then clearly they aren’t ready for L1.
Yeah but, no but, yeah but.......
Fuck, you’re right.

I agree,Felt for the shrews as they were top for a lot of that season against the two promoted sides with far superior budgets but that's football unfortunately. Exeter could have pipped Wycombe to 3rd spot but were way too inconsistent at the end and paid the price.
