If Notts county lose we are safe even if we lose .... Regardless of every other result
if we win or draw we are safe anyway.
So watch the notts co score and forget the rest.

Well that is one more team that can't catch us (unless we lose a goal difference that is better by 8).

If Crewe lose we're safe regardless of our score also.

Not if Notts win by 4 goals = same GD, more goals scored. Not out of the realms of possibility.

We are safe if Notts lose or draw whatever our result
or
If Crewe lose, so long as we don't lose by 20 goals
or
if we win or draw we are OK

For us to go down Notts have to win, Crewe have to win or draw and we have to lose.

We are also safe if Crawley lose too.

Only Yeovil have a worse GD - which makes last Saturday even more frustrating/ridiculous.

So for us to go down, we have to lose and Notts and Crawley have to win, and Crewe have to draw or win?

If so, I think we're safe.

As we are playing Crawley them winning = us losing.

Only 3 games matter..

Or, as stated, we draw but Notts win by 4 goals.

Ekkk.. that is a possibility, but it has to be combined with Crewe winning too.

Now my head hurts.

Yeah Crawley currently are 4th bottom, they need to beat us to overhaul us. Therefore a draw is good enough for us.

For god's sake! At this rate, I'll have no idea where we stand at the final whistle, unless we win..

I prefer the simplicity and clarity of my point ...( I have, of course, assumed Crewe will get some sort of result as highly likely and that Notts won't win by 4 goals ... Both pretty safe assumptions)

i prefer clarity even if it plays a tad loosely with all the permutations.

Just need Sunderland to win their game in hand.

Wrong, if we draw then Crawley can't overtake us as well as Colchester, Leyton Orient and Yeovil.

Win we stay up.

Draw we stay up.

Lose then it also needs other results to go against us.

Notts County could win 50-0 and we'd still stay up if we drew, you were right. If we draw or better we are safe.

It's pretty simple....keep your eye on Notts game...if they take the lead start looking at our game...as long as Notts don't win ...we are fine..
Crewe don't matter unless we lose and Notts win....then we must hope Crewe have lost.

Colchester & Orient can't pass us....and its hard to see Colchester getting anything out of Preston as Preston are ony 1 point in front of MK Dons for automatic promotion place so will want the 3 points .

If Notts County and Crewe win, Colchester win 1-0, and we lose 14-4, we'll go down on alphabetical order behind Colchester

Yeah but don't forget M.K. Dons would have to beat the mighty Yeovil first
