He went on loan there until the end of the season about a month ago (I think). He does have another year on his contract with us, but I doubt we'd "stand in his way" if St Johnstone wanted to make it perm.

That's the thing. He signed players permanently like Swanson and MIller but then didn't play them. Both looked equally as good as the loanees to me. I mean, McQUoid wasn't any better than Miller but SP decided to ignore the latter.

Basically, Pressley was a clueless twat, Baker, Swanson, Miller, McSheffrey etc, all surplus to requirements but would quite clearly do a job here!

Good riddance I say!

Don't forget Blair Adams. I thought he was a classy little left-back.

In all fairness Swanson went on a decent run of performances in December time and then Pres dropped him... Just like the Tudgay situation after his good performance at Walsall.

Baker,Macca,Swanson, and Cody Mcdonald all have scored in the past week, and Maguire last night for Sheff Wednesday.
Did Pressley and his cronies ship all of them out ? everytime you mention a player who's left us you get comments of we couldn't keep them for this reason or another. All I know is they all seem to do well elsewhere !

Talented player with obvious technical ability, but never seemed to fit into any of Pressley's 'systems'. The sort of player I'd assume Mowbray would like.

What are you talking about? McQuoid was our top scorer, did Miller even score once?

Mcqoid still is our *joint* top scorer. Yes Miller scored twice, and two top quality finishes IIRC.

Yes, scored a couple I think in a lot less starts.

Was never really given much of a chance even though SP said he was the best finisher he had ever seen or something like that.

Think Miller managed two goals
I agree with torch though, Miller and Mcquoid similar types of players
Only one was given a real chance here though and that Is/was a waste of resource
We do it all the time
