Very odd really. Looked decent last season and scored a stunner in pre season. Just didn't get a run of games together. Him and Jones were the only two that walked away from the Gillingham game with any credit.

I don't think he has been given a fair chance, but then I didn't think he was a very good signing anyway at the time.

So how many poor signings does that make it Pressley? Someone needs to dig out a few of the press clippings where he is earmarked as a bloody world beater. Never known such a high player turnover! Isn't he also one of the 9 players contracted next season? That'll be him in the bomb squad in Pre-season then, making it 8!

Another player signed and given the opportunity to get his career going again. Came wearing a label with, worth a punt written on it.

The end of the transfer market we are in there is a lot of risk; the unheard of'so, those who once showed promise and those passed the best before date. So failure rate and turnover will be high. At least Pressley moves them on quickly if they aren't delivering.

Unfortunately it marks the level we have fallen too.

Shame really, tried to attack when provided with the ball and a chance, fitness issues I suspect have meant he has not quite lived up to the expectation, a shame really, but with the two new lads coming in with raw pace, maybe felt he would be even more limited.

Had his injury concerns but i always thought he was one bit of creative spark we actually had yet everyone seemed to slate him for taking people on and losing it occasionally. Wasn't given enough of a chance in my book but would like to see him play behind a striker which clearly Pressley was never going to do
