We were just saying clearly grimes comes in for Allen Wednesday but Allen would be on before sheaf on the last month or so

Allen has not only played very well during our winning streak but has also captained us during that time. It would be a risk to change this.

-> A few seasons ago Allen was surplus to requirements in a pretty shite squad. Look at him now! How he keeps finding levels is beyond me. MoM today.

-> Simms brilliant again. He's definitely being asked to be more direct by FL and getting balls that allow him to do just that.

-> BTA is such an anomaly. Does so much that justifies slander, but then scores a worldy and assists. Absolute workhorse though.

The confidence is flowing now! What a difference it makes. Thought rudoni and torp showed some lovely touches. Ellis was superb, very physical, a good outlet and took his goal well. Bta did well. They all did well!

Deference, clean sheet. Looked comfortable. Great win!!!

Shout out to Jamie Allen, his game has really stepped up a gear lately, he's always been a busy player, but is now showing the aggression that was previously lacking from his game. 8/10 today.

Another solid team performance today. Allen and Torp have bossed that midfield recently, both everywhere and Torp today with some great defensive play, especially with their quick corner. I'm really pleased for BTA and Simms. Just goes to show what this run is doing for them.
Simms great hold up play and intelligent pressing, forcing them to go long or play around the back. His persistence to not give up on the long throw, bullied their defender and got his rewards, great touch and finish. Could have had 2 great assists for Rudoni in 2 games as well.
BTA - wow, what a goal. The audacity to try it as well, just shows the confidence is high, another deserved goal.
Kitching again solid at the back, so good to have him back in the team too.
I rate them all the same, as that again, is what playing for each other gets you.

A very proud day to be a Skyblue .
A complete performance by our lads & the coming months under Frank Lampard's tuition, could well see us achieve the near unthinkable, just a short time ago

I said months ago that people were trying to make up that he was a donkey but couldn't stop the idiots from believing it is fact

He's a very strange mixture though. Produces sublime moments like that and on other occasions looks like he's never kicked a ball before. Think he's one of the most genuine players I've heard when interviewed.

He comes across very well in the few bits I’ve seen of him.

Agreed, although this run in the team seems to be doing him (and simms) the world of good. Funny that.

Unfortunately for Asante, with the players we have returning, I can't see his run in the team lasting.

Yeah, unless he just keeps scoring goals.

The success we’re having with this formation could prove to be a bit of a conundrum…a positive one of course. That being said I’m really excited to see Sheaf, Grimes, EMC, Wright and the potential AN Other(s) in the side. Not to mention Tats playing more often again.

You don't drop forwards who are scoring . And that's from someone who thinks Haji Wright is our best player

Well that's an issue Lampard is going to have to contend with.
There are worse problems to have as a manager.

I love it how Haji Wright has become a better striker since being injured.

Haji is a great player..maybe our best. But lets nkt firget my goodness he has missed sone absolute sitters..as all strikers do.

He’s got a minutes per goal comparable to Piroe this season. He’s by far our best striker.
