Nobody played well.

Robins and the ref competing for not having a clue.

Both goals were awful to concede.

There's no surprise that our best form in the last few years coincided with 3 CBs 2 full backs playing WBs & 2 CDMs with 2 special players.

Dovin 5

His ball control at the very end summed him up. Blah blah Wilson’s a clown etc but he’s vocal and on his toes and quick to bowl out for a quick break. Dovin - not ready. One for the future but his goals against speaks for itself.

MVE 7

Seemed to struggle at times but at least showed some passion.

Binks 6

Some shoddy passing and got turned too often.

Thomas 5

Zero football intelligence. (Awaits usual white knights to chime in). Sorry, no good. Kitching better.

Bidwell 7

Shows effort and a bit quicker to cover ground than last year.

Eccles 6

Not up to it.

Allen 5

Not up to it.

Rudoni 7

Has a clue at least. Once he gets on the wavelength of our running players will get better results.

Wright 6

Unsure what’s going on with him.

BTA 6

Lots of running, little end product.

Bassette 6

As above.

Subs

EMC 5

Not seen anything from him to justify playing.

Sims 6

Bottle has gone. Battle has gone.

Torp 5

Rubbish

Tats 6

Targeted for a battering and knows it. Plays accordingly

Overall

Get Wilson back in. Give Bidwell the armband and a remit to get some spine into the team.

Robins needs to have a serious look at the morale in the squad. It used to get us late goals and effort - now we look clueless and resigned to going nowhere.

Dovin 6 given his alleged passing range he only really passes to to the centre backs
MVE 7 was one of the only players who showed anything
Thomas 6
Binks 6
Bidwell 6
Eccles 6.5 some nice bits of play, BTA should have done better with his through ball
Allen 4 I have always liked him as a player but he's really exposed by a heavy press
(Torp 5 the odd good thing but lots of bad, square peg in a round hole)
Rudoni 7 worked hard, didn't quite get the rub of the green goal aside
BTA 5 left us completely exposed down our right, offered very little going forward and then when he was played in by Eccles made a pig's ear of it
Wright 5 similar to BTA defensively but was so poor with the ball, just looks half arsed in everything he does at the moment
Bassette 5 busy but he's not exactly hurting defenders

Subs

EMC 5 looking every bit like a one hit wonder
Sakamoto 6 looked a bit like himself
Simms 5 just show some fucking aggression man

To be fair. I could stand where dovin does and just pass it between defenders.

Their keeper at least went long

Just to add some balance. EMC is going to be a very good player for us. No idea why Dovin is being criticized. The biggest mistake today was starting Allen - we were over run with Allen last year against the same oppo - he doesn't have the strength to play that role in the Champ. Same story when he played against Luton in the play off final.

Signing Dovin just looks like a misuse of funds at the moment. Midfield was far more important than goalkeeper.

To be honest I thought Eccles was one of the better performers. Though that’s not difficult when there’s so much shit being turned in by the others

Agreed. To spend all this money and still see Allen starting is laughable. He should have been moved on.

Dovin 5 - Distribution is fine if it’s just to your centre halves
MVE 6 - left totally exposed first half
Thomas 6 - didn’t do anything bad, just above average
Binks 6 - same as above
Bidwell 5 - his ball retention at times was laughable
Eccles 6 - the only player that showed a bit of bite
Allen 3 - shame he went off injured but glad he went off. He was chasing shadows and giving the ball away constantly
Rudoni 6.5 - tried to make things happen at least
Wright 3 - dogshit performance. Totally anonymous
BTA 4 - left MVE exposed and his shooting is wank
Bassette 5 - worked hard but should have scored and needs to learn how to hold the ball up better

Subs
Torp 5 - better than Allen but so was everyone else
EMC 4 - plenty of enthusiasm but I’m not convinced at all. His touch is dreadful
Sakamoto 5 - did nothing of any note
Simms 5 - was ineffective
Dasilva N/A - most pointless substitution in history

Robins 0 - he’s fucked me off today with such shite tactics and subs

Also think it's very easy to turn on new players who we have no attachment to yet like EMC and Asante but what have Wright, Simms and Sakamoto done this season? They've all been crap for the most part.

EMC stands out as the biggest waste of money. Not just on today's performance but season to date. Offers nothing.
BTA looks no more than an impact squad player.

Thought he covered a lot of ground and got some very good blocks and challenges. He had some decent incisive passes, including the one threaded through that Thomas-Asante couldn't get hold of.
