I you were to try something different I think a standard 442 suits this group much better than wingbacks.

If ever we had the need to change things (due to opposition set up/injuries) it makes little sense for the players not to have practised for that circumstance;similarly , if we go down to 10 men. My only (slight) query is that this is the last 'main' friendly before the Stoke game (aside from the meaningless game against non league Roma), so I might have expected him to try this in an earlier game. In Robins we trust, though!!I know it's a friendly but it literally makes zero sense for him to even try it
Today is when you go first choice and give them a decent 70 mins or more. Those in need of minutes can get them on Tuesday against RomaDay of the fringe player or those in need of minutes in the legs today for me Collins, Burroughs, JDS, Howley, Palmer, Torp, Tatsu, Andrews, Lats and Tavares i hope get the bulk of the minutes. Be nice to see Thomas Asante, Sheaf, Rodriguez and Wright at some point. But no injuries is priority along with Robins getting final answers on who stays to play a part in our season.
