No. Its a traditional german fan culture to have a guy leading the group of supporters. English fans claim atmosphere here is amazing. Watch anything in Germany and we are like mice.

Nah they drone on and don't even follow the action on the pitch. It's a performance and it seems like they aren't even watching the match.

Fair play for bouncing about and shouting for 90 mins but it bore no correlation to the match. Not for me.

Was an enjoyable day our and thought Torp, second half in particular, had a great game.

We look decent.

They’ve got some bloody good lungs on them and they really only took a breather at half time.
Walked by a couple of them near Tesco after and one said to me ‘ Hello Tommy’ …..was that a reference to the old WW1 nickname for us

They must have been exhausted by full time.

Any idea why the club didn’t allow the fans to watch both friendlies yesterday. Would have been a nice additional selling point ….

The first as at the higgs, no way that would be able to cope.

But that's their culture. Personally I find it very good and far better than a few cov fans singing about the war

The over zealous authorities and safety nazis would try and stop that sort of stuff here. They’d say the flags were a fire risk

Hope we never get the stupid bloody flags here. How is anyone supposed to watch the football?

Four Things We Learned As Coventry City Faced Werder Bremen - Opinion

Coventry City finished their 2024/25 Championship preparations with a narrow 2-1 defeat against Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, but what four things did we learn from the match itself? Fresh from their 3-0 victory against Premier League side Everton in mid-week, Mark Robins’ side hosted a Werder...

Don't be a prick, I wasn't in any way suggesting those brainless twats that sung that were better.

My point stands, I'd still take a crowd (whatever the nationality) actually reacting to the ebb and flow of a match to an a set of ultras going at a consistent level for 90mins not even raising the noise when they score.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions but don't go insinuating nonsense
