Maybe. Maybe not. One question though, so far what have Wasps done to help CRFC? I ask because when they moved here they said they would and it's been a year now so any help for CRFC?

What do you think Wasps should be dong for CRFC? What do Burger King do for McDonalds?

It's really simple. If you want CRFC to be more succesful put your hand in your pocket and get down the Butts once in a while. Maybe you do already. Plenty on here who moan about wasps doing nothing for CRFC are also doing nothing for CRFC.

Ironic really, plenty of people on here moan about CCFC but don't bother with them.

No, just my reading glasses to read through emails.

I think it's quite clear what it is trying to do with the original article and the trust statement one.

Are supporters direct working directly with the Wasps PR team as well as the council's?

Well I'm not a member of the NOPM brigade so I don't count. I would also think that nearly all of the NOPM brigade have invested lots of money in CCFC until recently so have earned the right to moan.

Unlike alot of those moaning about wasps not helping CRFC but do nothing to help CRFC themselves, never have and never will.

I didn't say anything about the NOPM brigade.

You're missing the point. Wasps stated when they relocated that they would do all they can to assist CRFC and not hinder the club or impede on their support. That was what Wasps said, not me or anyone else. Can you show me evidence of what they have done to help CRFC? Or were Wasps just spinning a line to smooth the move over?

Bit like Tim Fisher saying the Ricoh was not viable with the loan etc. Yet people take that as gospel. Hypocrisy on here has no boundries

No its not Ok. But you reach a point where you spite your nose to save your face...if that is what you choose to do - good luck.

You know that for a fact do you? So you'll have something to back that claim up I assume?

Can't believe you're seriously suggesting that Wasps were looking at the stadium and rubbing their hands as the hypocritical council gave them a fivefold increase in the lease........but wouldn't have bothered with buying the Ricoh if our own rugby team were better supported.
No not a fact - just what I think...otherwise they might have just gone ground sharing with Harlequinns or whoever. They will have done a certain amount of research I would imagine.

Never said we did. You seem to be more than happy to swap one for another. Just wondered why you thought one hedge fund is better than the other.

Here is a quote from Nick Eastwood

He also said the move did not now mean people had to choose between Coventry Rugby Club or Wasps.
"It's about collaboration to make sure both clubs thrive and help each other, building attendances for each club and giving supporters even more rugby to enjoy.
"Wasps will work hard to become part of the community and help support the development of grassroots rugby in Coventry and Warwickshire."

By not playing on Saturdays so their fixtures don't clash. Oh hang on they went back on that after less than a year didn't they?

To be fair she also said CRFC had been fully involved yet CRFC said they hadn't been.

"Them"? You're confusing me with yourself,I'm totally independent I can speak for myself you want to give it a try sometime. Or do your posts have to be approved before you can post them? That's the problem with committees!

The only thing that is clear from the whole of this thread is that none of the parties have covered themselves in glory...all parties have damaged CCFC and us the fans.
For me the main culprits are our owners for making the ludicrous decision to take us to Northampton. I will never forgive them for denying my father in his last year of life a chance to watch his beloved sky blues. He had been going up since the 1940s and not missed more than a handful of home games in almost 70years of support (and a season ticket holder for 50 of those years). If we were genuinely in the process of building our own stadium I could see the rationale but we weren't and still aren't.

Presumably, there are similar stories for when Wasps moved up here. Presumably they will never forgive Wasps or CCC.

My Dad has been going every season since 1953 and Sixfields was the only season he's missed since.

Absolutely. As I say it is us the fans ...the real fans...whether sky blues or wasps who have been taken for a ride

What the hell are you on about? He said Wasps had promised to do things to help CRFC when they arrived. All I'm doing is asking a question. I'll do a parody of you "what's wrong with asking a question?"

I guess it depends on what question you're asking then.

You did. I then pointed out in response that wasps wouldn't allow it. To which you haven't replied or shared your opinion. Is that because you agree with me or do you think wasps would welcome a direct competitor in the city there trying to establish in? Come on smart arse. Tell us what you think. You are specialist in all things wasps after all. I'm on my phone. Spelling mistakes happen. If that's what makes you smile though. Simple things and all that.

The only weapon he has is attempting to mock those who post spelling mistakes as they type on phones.

When you struggle with the difference between 'to' 'too' 'site' 'sight' then I guess you need all the ammunition you can get

Because you come on going on about not giving a shit about Wasps but go on and on trying to defend them. If somebody was saying that the Wasps owner had been out kidnapping children then fair play point out the truths. When they came in, it was said they would help wasn't it? He is asking how have they helped?

I am also on about yet again the fact you can't be arsed with CCFC discussions, just coming on to talk about stuff you apparently aren't fussed about.

I've not said they have helped have I? I asked what they said they were going to do to help. Big difference, huge.
