If people have a real need to go by car and able to walk, why not just park a lot further away and walk .

I nearly always always walked to Highfield Road and even sometimes walk Railwy station in City centre to CBS.

I know originally a no parking exclusion zone was set up which went an amazingly long way out Not sure how much that is enforced?

Just walking to where I grew up in Courthouse Green / Wyken doesn't take long. to walk. Certainly much less than an hour spent in a gridlock..

They can only feedback but if local authorities and policing bodies are ordering it to happen there is very little they can do.

Thanks Pete for asking about the roads.

Would just ask what’s going on with the stadium lease.

At the end of this year we’ll only have three years left unless I’ve got it wrong and since we have no plans to move (thank god), would like to know how far along we are to agreeing a new lease?

If only there was a train track by the stadium that could take a few thousand back into the city centre, to their cars or other trains.

Would help ease congestion, and get some people home earlier too.

This country is so useless when it comes to stuff like this.

Close the roads around the stadium for an hour after the forum.
That might help them to focus on finding a solution.

I noticed at Swansea Saturday that they closed their main road out of the stadium.

I doubt this restriction will ever get moved. No one will pay to build a new footbridge will they? How much would that cost?

Don't worry, they are building Very Light Rail. You'll be able to use that to get to the CBS in 2065.

I haven't looked at the previous questions, so not sure if it's been raised but are there any further updates on the bus travel the club were talking about. Also would it be possible for the club to look at improving other transport options, so for example would better/more secure cycle racks and lockers encourage more people to cycle. With the council putting in more cycles lanes and encourage use of bikes, the club/stadium should take advantage to get people out of cars.

No one has really asked any questions just whinged about road closures in varying degrees of annoyance to practicality

I can ask about this outside of the meeting

the bus trial from town has been extended
I’m going earlier today as I do wonder how many are using it

Can someone stop the AV guy? It’s ruining pre match atmosphere now. All getting far too choreographed and getting in the way of fans singing. Was perfect last year.

Any chance of letting ST holders upgrade to Balcony Bar or similar for a discount that recognises the fact they’ve already paid for a ticket?

I pointed out various options and things that could be done. You're blinded by things though so it's pretty pointless sometimes as you refuse to listen.

Are the club working with that Sky Blue Archive site to help safeguard and organise media they have access to? Also a physical museum perhaps with Cov Rugby and Blaze was also mentioned (by us) would that be something the club would be interested in moving forwards? Also what about a hall of fame where season ticket holders can vote one person in each year or something? Basically any plans to recognise and protect our past or at least assist fans who want to?

As the donation to charity angle seems to be a regular thing now when they push new stuff out on the shop, happened for Poppy Day and again with the new kit today, can you ask the club how much is actually going to charity.

For example if someone buys a full kit and jacket from the new range today that's £170, how much of that is going to charity?

A Coventry Sports museum, or even a Coventry museum would be great.

There's so many empty buildings around the city it can't be that hard to sort something like that. Potentially move the Music museum in as well which is great but a bit hidden away so a lot of people probably miss it.

Was gonna say sounds a great idea but think it’s something for the club to support the council with rather than own or develop

Make it the Cov and Warks museum and get some of the local games companies in too, plus any film or TV stuff (literally all I know is the Italian job sewer scenes and Nativity! but there must be something else). Would be great.

The old IKEA Cultural Gateway project would be perfect for this actually…

@Sky Blue Pete could you ask if the club has been in contact with the council cos it really looks like a great opportunity they need culture. The club is full of it, seems like a great partnership opportunity.

Who do we talk to about getting this off the ground? Not far from Blaze or Cov Rugby either so could be perfect.

I literally say annoyance to practicality
Yours and many others were in the practicality range
Others were blind annoyance

Can have all five minutes of their history! Would be rude to build a Cov sports museum next to their ground and not invite them surely?

The other night was grim because some prick assaulted a member of staff. Hardly a sound reason to bin off what's trying to be done with crowds and traffic.

He's literally sent the COO of the club an email sharing people's frustrations about the situation within a day or two of it happening. You're talking sh*te.

He’s also said if it takes an hour what does it matter as what are people doing in that time. People on here are saying they may not renew their tickets. A lot think the restrictions are pointless. It takes ages to get out of these car parks at the best of times
