Can it be asked how our i follow figures stack up against others in the Championship? As an alternative source of revenue while we play without crowds could the club do more to sell it to a wider audience than it currently gets?

Can you ask if we even practice shooting in training? If so, does anyone ever score?

Should this nonsense just be boycotted. It’s gives credence to this ongoing ownership fiasco. As a group it’s surely time to raise legitimate questions about this hapless bunch of losers whose running the club

I would put my question on her but cc84cov will steal it and then regurgitate it as his own info, it will forever be unanswered

Shot question mate. Last time somebody designed something on here it was that Mark Robins flag. The old monorail guy. What a fiasco

I don’t think there are any questions worth asking. All you’d get is mealy mouthed words and catchphrases such as sustainability, self funding business model and need additional revenues.

It’s pointless but I do think they’d be rather surprised if say whoever attends the meeting presented a poll result that said the majority of members who voted in a poll have zero confidence in “Joy” fisher and the hapless Boddy.

There's a definite place for a fans forum. Not sure attending to ask questions on day to day issues is giving credence. I mean, we all moaned that the Trust never communicated with the club - sounds like you now think what the Trust were doing was the best approach?

I think personally we need to all collectively express the desire that the owners and in particular “Joy”’leave the building - of course it’s not going to make any difference but giving credibility to this nonsense that’s playing around us cannot in my view be condoned. You’ll end up sounding like Jonathan Strange if you are not careful

On this point I guess I owe you and your brother an apology. This really is I believe crunch time for the club and the casual approach to “Joy” and her foot soldiers had to stop and a collective force against her has to be organised

Thing is he is right the only reason people dont ask these questions is because they will get railroaded, and wont be asked to attend another loaded bullshit meeting.

2013 was the crunch time, but too many people crying “I only want to watch my club” and she and the idiots in charge were given a degree of legitimacy and gave them carte Blanche to do it again. The time has passed it has gone, the people who were most vociferous in their opposition now are not interested.
Perhaps people like you and others should have seen what we were seeing, but hindsight is a great thing eh Grendel.

To be honest if you agreed with it or not the Northampton move was a deliberate strategy and made sense

The outcome could have been different

The problem now of course is that they have nowhere to go and are being backed into a tiny corner with no intention of surrender

One thing I’ve never been inconsistent on is the fact that they are just not very good. Seppalla may have strengths in debt management and distress but seems rather useless at running a company - she’s just not impressive at all

The concern is that people seem to think they are great business strategists and running the club prudently and responsibly. In real terms they’ve lost money every year, are continuing to lose money and have had to sell prime assets to manage the losses. In fact they are also now withdrawing money back from deferred interest and refunding with interest bearing shorter term loans.

There is no football strategy in terms are taking the club forward - just a hole things might be ok but I suspect the league we are in is little concern to our American Finnish owner.

Still I suspect the majority on here are with the programme (whatever that is) so I’ll leave it and let the thread return to asking football related questions

It was interesting however an obvious plant from the Sisu Minister of Communications was on here recently. He wasn’t very good either.

I don't think anyone thinks they are great strategists. The drive to run at break even is out of necessity so that we don't continue haemorrhaging money (and they have still, in the main, had to be covering losses).

In terms of footballing (on field) strategy, I have to disagree. That has worked well over the last few years, and the proof is in the pudding. It's got us back to the minimum position we should be in. Now we are back in the Championship I'm not so sure it's the right strategy. Unfortunately the Championship is a bit of a basket case, and if we want to progress we need investment into the playing squad. We might be able to scrape staying up this year but it'll be a constant battle with the lowest budget in the division. Let's be honest, we should be punching above the likes of Rotherham, Barnsley & Luton at a minimum.

One thing that the vast majority of us will agree on is that we need to be back in Coventry as soon as possible (next season).

Talking about Sisu plants is a bit conspiracy theorist though, especially when you've been accused of being a Sisu plant in the past.

Haven't we all... On the other hand, I've also had the occasional moron decide I'm multi-accounting because I share an anti-SISU view with other posters. Simpletons, one and all or, a desire to discredit a view because it doesn't suit a particular agenda?

I didn't want to derail this thread, but I do feel obliged to add to this bit I've quoted It's funny isn't it, after all the recent paranoia of people signing up to defend CCC and Wasps (it switched from SISU to them a fair old while back!), the first outright confession for ages that somebody has signed up here to influence public opinion, and it's met with virtual silence...

Now personally I don't really care if somebody is CCC, Wasps, CCFC linked, it's the argument that counts, but got to be consistent and all that...

Wouldn't go so far as Grendel, but does indeed get triggered whenever people are negative about ground issues, then pops up and announces Boddy has / had posted on here, along with claiming many club connections.

I've had worse response than they had after all that, for daring to agree with shmmeee on one or two things!

You can tell people are looking for direction in life when they start dreaming up conspiracies that centre around their favourite online message board.

But then again, as a CET plant, I would say that.

He also went into a long back and forth with you on the 70s and 80s era which you wouldn’t expect a plant to start off with. Also got to say I don’t see who among the recent or regular posters is a plausible Boddy

We asked many of them with Ms Seppalla and Dave Boddy last year and hoped to follow them up at some point. Maybe now is the time.
