Is there anything they can do about getting people in quicker when ‘paper’ ticket sales are high? Last season we had major issues getting people in for kick off against Middlesbrough (first home game, many people’s ST cards hadn’t arrived), Oxford and Sheff Wed (both cup games).

Appreciate a lot of it is down to user error but is there any improvement i.e. tickets in an Apple Wallet that could slicker things?

Until last week, I was unaware that if you screenshot the barcode, you can then add to your google wallet on Android using that image. Worked perfectly on Saturday. Unsure if you're able to do so on Apple etc though

Really good point. Allow people to take reusable water bottles and provide drinking water. Think they do at Wembley so I'm sure we can manage!

You can't take bottles in though to be able to fill them!

They did at Wembley. Also at Wimbledon too this summer.

Last season I asked for some tap water at one of the kiosks at the CBS and was told you certainly don't want to drink the water we have in the taps. They gave me bottled water instead but this is really poor for the environment.

So 23 home games, 25000 average and 3 near misses equals road closures, traffic jams, angry motorists who just need to get home, polution pumped in the air from grid locked roads.

Who cares about a few drivers being in a traffic jam for a little bit.

1) What was the rationale for the location of the safe standing given the overwhelming preference of supporters for it to be in Singers Corner.

2) Does the club intend to take action to enforce sitting/ stop persistent standing in areas other than the safe standing?

3) If the answer to (2j is yes, what will that action be?

4) If the answer to (2) is no, why did the club bother to introduce safe standing and at what cost?

I suppose the next question would be, Will safe standing be extended to include blocks 15 and 16 at some point.

The rationale is obvious; the survey was done before they announced that home fans would be in the south stand permanently.

Given that, it’s logical to assume people selected singers corner because it was the closest home section to the away end.

People being stubborn for the sake of it about this are genuinely annoying.

If we get promoted to the PL do the club have any plans to penalise STHs who cannot attend every game? They have already this in place for the FZ & I am specifically thinking about those who live far away and cannot attend midweek games.

I'd be delighted to have an update as to progress on a longer lease for the stadium. Has there been any progress? Have talks even started? What's the endgame?

I know some PL teams that penalise STHs for missing games, eg Man Utd take them off STHs if more than 2 games are missed

I personally don’t care but others do. @David O'Day has persistently misinterpreted the statement regarding the consultation. Therefore the rationale is clearly not obvious, and if what you say is the case, why don’t the club just come out and say that the goalposts moved (well, they stayed in the same place but the home fans appeared in the south stand).

It would be a reasonable argument to make that, if allowing home fans in the south stand made such a fundamental difference, the consultation should have been repeated with the new context made clear. If the question had been “do you support safe standing in the south stand but not Singers Corner”, the response might have been very different.

As the saying goes, if you assume anything it makes an ass out of you and me.

Is there any plans with the academy to build an elite development system where we can create our own homegrown stars, will they improve the higgs or find a new site such as Warwick Uni to base the academy?

Delays it doesn’t it though. The timing is quite tight if you want to do it without affecting capacity.

It’s only inertia keeping people in the corner. People need to get over it.

Whilst I think there is a significant element of truth in what you say, I do wonder if the possibility of being moved for cup ties is also adding to the reluctance to move. I do hope @Sky Blue Pete asks the question and gets an answer.

Can WiFi be improved in the ground

Can we keep our bottle tops, at least in the family zone , although with cctv and so many season tickets, who the he'll do they think will throw it? Always getting kicked over and spilling down the steps, means you can't keep stuff under your seat.

Can the club shop be open after the game

Bloody hell Pete, where have you been?

Earlier this year the Sky Blues sent a survey to supporters to gauge their views on safe standing, including their preferred location in the Arena for this to be introduced. Over 80% of supporters who completed the survey supported the introduction of safe standing within the stadium with over 70% stating the preferred location for installation being Singers Corner.

John Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at Coventry City, said:

“I would like to thank all supporters who engaged with the club survey earlier this year as this provided valuable feedback to the club on this subject matter. The Club has looked to balance supporter safety regarding persistent standing while also looking to enhance the matchday experience for the Sky Blue Army.”

I can, but its not always the same type of lid should I keep a range? Also, mine arent the problem. It's the family section, they are kicked when put on the floor and the liquid rolls down a few levels meaning if you've bought anything from the club shop, you dont really want to put it under your chair.

Some of the bottle now have tops that stay on the bottle, be interesting to see if they use them & whether they can trust the servers to cut the tops off

I think I read that is an EU thing to ensure that the tops get recycled along with the bottles - would suggest that they wouldn’t be allowed to just cut them off.

Think you'll find it's the bottles that stay on the top. Harder to put a spare top in your pocket when the bottle has stayed on it.
