My guess would be the three previous vids about bookies predictions in the title if you’re putting ads on YouTube you don’t want to be associated with gambling, and I’d imagine he has put himself as child friendly to get a higher ad revenue

Don't youtube normally give the user 'strike' marks as a warning before demonetizing a channel? Seems harsh to do this without any prior warning.

Not at all. He says in the video that he turned content creation from a hobby into his job (actually a self employed business with all the benefits of it). If this is now his business then he needs to look at all the other platforms that he can earn money from, advertisement, affiliations, merchandise, collaborations, other subjects etc etc. No different to any other business that needs to work on its growth, and the fact he's left himself solely reliant on YouTube is a mistake for him to rectify.In other words "support local business" can f*ck off
