Are we allowed in any this year?

If so, where is everyone going?

We ended up in a spoons then the Sunderland fans museum (which was actually decent, wish we had somthing like it) earlier this season. Wouldn't mind going somewhere with cov fans this time around though.

If we land in time spending the afternoon in Durham or Chester Le-Street before heading up and being in and out for the game

Few of the coaches have been told where they can and can't stop on the outskirts before convoying up to the game I believe

Never had an issue getting in a pub at Sunderland, certainly without colours. Have gone in the Colliery Tavern right outside the ground a couple of times. Doorman asked if we were Cov last time, said yes, and he just said in you come lads. That was last season, so don't know if they've changed that, but pretty relaxed up there.

I went in there last year and there were some funny looks.

Ended up in the horrendous Hilton bar. Never again.

I thought they'd banned us from there after the trouble in 2019?

It was an interesting pub to say the least. They had some strange competitions between fans...

The last two matches we went to Street Bar SR1, which is a sports bar in the city centre. No problems on either occasion - indeed, lots of chat with local fans. Not a place to start singing Jimmy Hill songs, though.

They aren't advertising for away fans. They usually put on their posts that they are.

Plus their ‘number one matchday entertainer’ is wearing a stupid T-shirt.
Best to give it a swerve.
