My Lad came back tonight and said he saw a total of 3 bottles thrown, Whilst I know its 3 too many and there may have been a couple more thrown, its hardly the like English Archers raining arrows on the French at Agincourt is it?

No its not, nothing like it, its a football match not a war, i saw half a dozen at least plus flares coins and all sorts, saw one half full bottle of coke fly 100 foot thru the air and hit a woman in the back of the head in an area full of kids elderly and disabled, disgusting behaviour.
No excuses.

Agree entirely about anything being thrown at a game. Otherwise, a crooked two fingered salute to them.

Hope any of the idiots who throw any objects are caught and banned.

The thing I hate about this short of thing is it’s normally innocent peoole who get hurt, some Sunderland idiot will now probably hurt some innocent City fans

This whole rivalry thing that has started recently is just embarrassing
As I said the other the other day I have nothing against them, I didn’t get excited waiting the the Sunderland game in the 90’s or nor did they.

No excuses, sure, but I would like to see their risk assessment for putting away fans in the tier above ANY home fans, let alone those you describe.
They’ve clearly concluded that the risk is tolerable!
They have failed in their duty of care to the home fans, and injury has resulted. Equals negligence
