Maybe we should cry about it for the next 50 years?

I have to be honest, i don't think we'll be there but if we are it won't be too bad. Hopefully we can park at Wealdstone FC again, just off the M40. Get the tube into Wembley.

What will be will be...

I'm pretty sure Wealdstone FC would do the parking again. The clubs FD is a contact of mine and he was the one last time who said they'd do it.

The long throws themselves are pretty good (distance and accuracy) to be honest. We just don't seem to be able to do anything with them.

On the key decisions
1. Stick to 433 or variant. 442's success rate is rubbish and 5 at the back pointless

2. Back 4 and goalie as you were (even tho I am a huge Bidwell fan).

The problem with the 'its a free hit as we're not ready for the prem' theory is will we ever be ready for the Prem. Unless you're a team that comes down and retains the vast majority of your squad & has parachute payments to spend is anyone?

Personally I don't see King suddenly going crazy with the cheque book and signing a squad of players who will make a genuine push for the automatic places and be Premier League ready. He's basically said as much, the plan is to keep getting in the play offs and hope that at some point we get lucky.

The one we scored vs stoke we actually attacked the ball from the edge of the goal area. The ones vs Sunderland was just stood around hoping it would get flicked on in to the box.

3. Drop Sheaf. Too slow too similar to Grimes, not penetrative. Bring in Allen to rough them up

4. Simms for BTA. The experiment failed. We need height in the box

5. Resist the temptation to play EMC.

Apparently SAFC have brought their advertising boards closer to the pitch. Don’t know if true.

Odd feeling this. Not often we get involved in 2 leg ties. Can't land on how I want us to set up or handle the game. I guess it's the same for Sunderland though who will be equally as in experienced at managing a tie over two legs.

Actually can't enjoy the play-offs it's all too stressful!

My thoughts exactly. Think FL will swap BTA for Simms but bet he persists with Mr Pedestrian in midfield.

There are some right bull shitting walters on their forum. One bloke recons he had to move his st seat because twice he has been showered in missiles including glass bottles from Coventry fans above. He recons it wasnt one or two either but numerous articles like being in a riot and yet no one thought about taking a picture of it and the police/stewards just stood their and watched.
Another bloke recons last Friday a Coventry fan threw a glass bottle over the segregation and it landed at his feet. Again no pictures, cctv and the police stewards just watched.

He forgot to mention the numerous coins being thrown by them and the photo on social media of a Coventry fan with a cut to his head from a thrown coin.

There really are some bull shitting individuals on their forum and they think they are the best behaved fans in the country

The writing is on the wall for me. We looked knackered in the last 20 on Friday night. They looked fresh and well organised.
We don't score enough and concede far too many. How we're in the playoffs is beyond me.
Anyway, the third best team deserves to get promoted, not just a side that played well for 10 games.
Sunderland 0 City 4

Not sure how you can say they looked fresh and we knackered when they had 10 men behind the ball at all times and it was basically attack v defence.

I was relaxed about tonight but have found out that a family get together is planned for the day of the final.

Come on City! I’ve been there for you, it’s time for you to step up for me!

I get a lot of responses, and people seem to like my posts considering I have a positive message to like ratio.

Yours is terribly in the negative.

75% possession and 3 shots on target? Lots of nice sideways passing, but didn't get in behind them once. They played perfectly for an away team and executed their game plan perfectly. We didnt.

I agree re the game plan but I’m not sure how we looked knackered? We looked fine energy wise, just struggled as BTA was not able to compete for crosses in the air and Wright had a stinker. Rudoni arriving late was our only threat.

Unfortunately I don't. Have to put a chair up against it to stop them bursting in. They also have to knock.

They're pretty wild stats.
Shows even more how much of an essential player Rudoni has been this season, especially in the run up to this play offs

Right. I am missing the first half unfortunately, because I am working.

I hope when I check the score at halftime, it's a zero in the Sunderland column.

I would be very happy to see 0-0 or 0-1 when I check.

If it's 0-2 or 0-3, I might even say something nice to my missus.

Eerily similar to 22/23 when our strikers dropped off and Hamer stepped up.
