Sunderland have 8 players with Cov-id but haven't been allowed to call tonight's game off! They were giving The Toon stick for having players out. He who laughs last and all that!

Why have they not been allowed to postpone? Bristol Rovers did.

Just read it, they could postpone but EFL couldn't guarantee they wouldn't face some form of sanctions. Well, that's the same with every club & plenty have postponed games due to it, no way they're all getting deducted points providing they've done it by the book.

Tbh with their squad they should beat Wimbledon comfortably anyway.

Just looked at the L1 table. Sunderland 1-0 down. Will be the 4th game they've lost this season (all other teams have lost at least 4) and only 17/18 games in. We lost 3 in 34 last season. Impressive, plus a weak L1 this season.
