@Sky Blue Harry H - probably one for you mate. I'm sure this can't be true, this is the kind of thing when people see it that riles them so I'm sure you can put it to bed. Most of what I know is that L&W aren't a top package holder and as such only have 30 tickets per game and it's the same regulars who (mostly) go. Similarly Nun&Bed have around 100 tickets but they are a much bigger outfit. Harry will hopefully be bale to fill in a lot more and before anyone gets at him, I've seen him at enough games to know he'd be in the top points bracket regardless, simply how he likes to travel and removes the complexity.

Spent the night in Whitley Bay after the game, on the piss, traveled back at 2am, absolutely knackered.
But aren't there people who are building their points up by buying tickets to games they can't go to and passing them to others?But when Dave has a wedding to go to or Steph is sick or whatever and they get passed down to whoever wants them it's a bit of a slap for the people that have built the points up.

I have no issue with supporters groups getting tickets but if they all get say 100 each then that’s 500 tickets approx gone.
I know people myself who got tickets to Oxford away from a supporters group. For the first time as they just fancied a close away game. So they can’t be short of tickets.
NoThey get tickets equal to the number of season ticket-holding members, don't they? That's what has been said here before, and by the club.
I thought the issue was that they get that number regardless of how many points those members have — something the club says doesn't happen, but some people from the supporters' clubs claim does.
So did you go and ask all those at Blackpool how they got a ticket ?I know of a few occassions where fans have used the supporters clubs to get away tickets when they havent been to a game in 2 years! Blackpool away was absolutely full of them.
Despite their constant denials and telling us its all above board etc it clearly isnt and its a loophole that needs closing.
Worst thing was when the club openly lied to me about it via email.

Not exact figures re: number of members, but I think we have about 80+. Through sponsorship, we get 30 tickets (nowhere near as many tickets as ST holders that we have), so being a member of the club does NOT guarantee you an away ticket, by any stretch.I'm not moaning about it, just saying it how it is
Our away average for the last 3 seasons has been over 2000Not quite sure how there's that many with than many points. Surely we still have that harcore 800-1200 who do every away game for that many points?

Coventry boysHaha, I've only told half the story, we left the pub on the Friday night 11pm 40 of us loaded the coach with beers, got to Sunderland in the early hours of Saturday morning, now remember in them days there was no 24 hour opening for shops or cafes etc.
We did something that I'm not proud of to this day, as there was nowhere to drink or eat we noticed the milkman delivering milk on the doorsteps of the local residents, we helped ourselves, these are the things that happen when you pissed up.
It actually made the news on ITN and in the local press, headlines, "Coventry fans came and left with the milk"
Then on to the game and Whitley Bay until the early hours of Sunday morning and then back to Cov.

A smattering of away days, Wembley and cut ties has me at 1510 points. I've only done Burnley away this season!I think if you'd dome all home games and Wembley the past 4 seasons with no away, you'd be pushing 1200 and that means Luton, Plymouth and Oxford the only issues.

We parked at b&q for game earlier this season, was a 25 minute walk to stadium, booked it through yourparkingspace. Didn't take too long to get out.Anyone that's been Sunderland away before recommend where to park. Looks like the options are St Peters, St Mary's or Sunniside. With the 3 and half hour drive home, I'm hoping to save as less time sitting in traffic getting out at possible. Anyone had good/bad experiences with these?
