Eccles would be one id imagine, his stock has risen significantly since he signed his last contract. The others possibly Palmer, Bidwell and Allen?Dawkins saying 3/4 players pushing for new deals as well. Not sure who they would be. Can’t be any of the new players from last season as they’re on 4 year deals.

Browne got married at the weekend so I doubt anything about his future will be announced this week.Would love one to be Alan Browne but I’ve heard he’s signed a new contract with Preston. It would certainly soften the Stamenic blow.

Why do people always seem to be under the impression we can and do only work on one target at time?Would love to be massively wrong but I get the feeling that with this Stamenic deal falling through we could be waiting a little while to see a signing. I’m guessing it’s caused a knock-on effect to other transfer plans so the recruitment team will have to reevaluate and chase up secondary options.

They won't be only speaking to one midfielder at a time though and it's the 19th of June so calm downYeah of course we’ll be working on other targets I just imagine it has set us back a little bit as CM is quite an important position and could affect what we’re doing about Sheaf. Nothing drastic in terms of other positions but I can’t see there being a signing imminently. I hope I’m massively wrong though.
