Seems to have had a respectable season in the Eredivisie, one year left on his deal at Spurs and very unlikely to break into their team. Probably not done as well as he could in previous Championship loans and a bit of a dodgy social network by all accounts.
I could go trawling but to be honest I can't be bothered I think even if I found any stats it wouldn't change perception. I have seen him tackle back with some absolutely committed crunching tackles especially towards the end of the season.I don’t have any stats to back it up, I’m sure someone will find them. But I’d bet my house that he’s in the lower echelons of distance covered when he plays. The amount of times opposition players just run past him with the ball is frightening. My biggest gripe is when he gives it away and he flings his hands around and doesn’t try and get the ball back. Anyone else in the team chases it straight away, he doesn’t.
