Well if we are going to lose him, I would rather his deal is sorted early rather than the last minute like Hamer (when it was too late to sort out a replacement)?

If a Premier League Club comes in for him I can't see how we can hold onto him?

We hold on to him until someone reaches our valuation, until then he goes no where.

Any truth in the rumour we have accepted a bid from Fulham for Sheaf?

Fulham have apparently agreed a deal to sign Ross Barkley. So unless they're after 2 new CMs it would seem unlikely.

Wonder if we do sell sheaf where we’d invest the most money

I still think we’d invest heavily in another forward player, maybe that guy from Denmark who was mentioned forgot his name

Yes they are after 2 as Palinha is off.

I believe the main problem our back 4 had this year is we didn't have a proper DM covering the space between the defence and the midfield. Kitching and Thomas were originally bought to play 3 at the back, with McFadz in the middle. When we went to a back 4 without a proper DM to cover the extra space it put Thomas and Kitching under a lot of pressure. Hopefully that will be addressed this summer (and a new goalkeeper ) and we can see how good Thomas and Kitching are with decent support around them.

Fulham are a Premier League club , sorry it’s just hard to keep track these days.

They won’t be after next season anyway. I’m sure Sheaf would be wise enough to have a sensible relegation release clause in his contract.

A return seems like the most logical and likely option for both parties.

Can see Sheaf going to a Fulham if they let Palinha ( spelling?? ) go, would make sense.

Get McCallum signed, absolutely great business. Take the money from selling him, let him develop for a few years, then sign him for free. Top work

Prefer Bidwell to Mcallum, but Mcallum is way better than Da Silva of course.

I think Wright will be gone, i have said this for a while on here. Top player, and my POY but i do wonder how happy he is in terms of the lifestyle here which will be very different to Turkey. Germany has a huge Turkish community so culturally his family may find Germany easier, yes i know he is American but obviously he was in Turkey before coming here.
He is also easily good enough for the Bundesliga and i would think could probably get a much bigger wage than he is on here.
WRight is the guy i am petrified about losing. So maybe iam just now getting paranoid and seeing stuff that isnt there...

Sure he'll be in demand, would say the likes of Leamington would be enough for him,was it a couple of seasons in turkey, reckon we can hold for one more year?

He’s American why would that have any bearing on where he goes? Players don’t tend to absorb the culture of their clubs to that extent.

Lifestyle wise Germany is actually the most similar to the UK for everyday/working life. With Wright it took him a few months to settle but you could see second half of the season he was enjoying it in the way he was celebrating.
It’s going to take 20 Million Plus to take Simms or Wright. I’d imagine 15 million for Sheaf so if any did leave you have the money to replace them and hopefully improve which is the Brighton/Brentford model.
I’d hope they will all be here for one more season which could bring success with a mainly settled side with the right additions.

Not so much these days. They both tend to knit things together from a lower CDM role …. Barkley is no longer the CAM that he was when he first broke through ….

The Kitching criticism is very short sighted. Rewind 4 months ago and everyone was saying he was looking a quality step up.

Everyone suffered the last 2 months, admittedly Kitchen was shite but form is temporary, class is permanent. We'll find out start of next season who the real Liam Kitching is

I called it way back when he signed, and the usual suspects were saying what a great signing he was, but right from the start you could see it was only Fadz that was holding the defence together.
4.5 million was a fucking joke. They well and truly had our pants down, but that's what happens when you sell the likes of Gyoketes and Hamer for so much money, suddenly the price of bang average players goes through the roof.

What I find strange about your observations, is Kitching only started two matches with McFadzean, Mon 30th October WBA at home and Sat 4th November away at Preston.

Correction three there was also Norwich home Oct 7th
