Yes, but it’s the distribution of the depth.

We’ve now got an abundance of central strikers but are still lacking in midfield, right back and potentially even on the wing.

Wing? If anything we have too many players can play there

Bobby Clark off to Salzburg for 12m. If Tyler Morton goes to Leipzig that's two Liverpool midfielders indoctrinated into the Red Bull cult

And why on earth would either of them want a player who struggles to get starts with us?

We’ve got 4 wingers including Raphael who has done an impressive disappearing act since signing. I don’t count Tavares. One more would be ideal imo, but midfield/rb are priorities.

Raphael will be good enough

Tavares is off

We have Tats, Raphael, Haji, EMC and at a push BTA on the wings

We have plenty

Why so needy?

Far from needy. I barely post on here, and I've not once posted anything I've heard on Twitter.
I said right from the beginning I shouldn't have let BTA's name slip, and that I wouldn't do it again.
Look what happened, it was copied on to Twitter by 'George Smith' within a couple of hours. People like that are your needy kind.

That's not what the club want, and I respect that. I respect my source too.
Like I said last night, things are happening, so people shouldn't be worried.
Then we got a new signing. It's good when it's a surprise. Like many other fans, i prefer that.
I'm always happy to talk football and where our club is headed. I think we've had a great window, so far.

Not saying it’s going to happen. It would just make me smile. Don’t forget though, COH was struggling for starts and the piggies signed him.

I hear what you're saying. I don't personally believe we are lacking on the wing. Trust the process, let's see who's in and who's out at the end of the window.

£5m for Lati and £3m for Palmer should get us a decent CM and CB cover

FFS guys you’re missing my point.

4 wingers for two spots is fine, yes. I’m using that as a comparison with striker, where I think 3 multi million pound signings is slightly overkill.

it's Boosh and co. ignore them. BTA is a brilliant signing.

This time last year we were bringing on an ageing Matt Godden who had the pace of a snail, now we're brining on BTA who scares the shit out of defenders with his pace and power. #baffling

I dont get why people are so negative about BTA, he’s definitely a good signing, proven scorer at this level, works very hard.
I think he’s trying too hard and when one goal comes he’ll start scoring a lot more because he was the top scorer of a team that finished above us last season who’s fans loved him, he’s been loved everywhere for his work ethic and ability
