We will have received some of those incentives already which will have boosted the transfer pot by a bit.

Release clause - €85m (£71,564,900)
From 15% we’d get
85-20=65
65mx0.15=€9,750,000 (£8,208,037)
From 10% we’d get (remember to deduct addons)
85-24=61
61mx0.10=€6,100,000 (£5,133,516)

so if the release clause is paid we’d get between 5.1m and 8.2m depending on what bonuses are paid thats just maximum and minimum fees as obviously the in betweens are add ons paid which is realistically what we’d get so Im guessing around 6.5m

Release clause is €100m, no?

To be fair I think he’d go for £70m max, probably slightly less so we’d be looking at £5-7m.

Depends on the exchange rate as the release fee is quoted in Euros

SIx million, four hundred thousand pound and zero pence*

*possibly

based off 10% of £64m (£85m minus the £21m they paid for him originally)

Nothing new has actually been said in that article so I think the comments here still stand:

Viktor Moving on

They must have a great scouting system at Arsenal, they could've had Viktor Gyokeres from us for around £25m Sporting Lisbon could see his potential. They obviously have money to burn. 🤑 I think they're going to run foul of FFP or whatever it's called now. Since Wenger left they've been...
www.skybluestalk.co.uk

I'd be more convinced if Fabrizio was running his mouth, but nobody even vaguely credible is saying anything definitive.

Does anyone know how much we would actually get based on the percentage breakdown?

Would be amazing to see a few pages of posters working it out

So if Vik makes at least Y appearances for Arsenal, scores more than K goals and they win the Prem within L years, I reckon the answer is A.

Edit: subject to the value of lambda obviously

Can’t see any team sending a young striker here on loan to be behind Simms and Wright

You could say the same of us not sending Tavares to a league one side

Well yeah. I’d only send Tavares to a league 1 side Tavares was a better striker than what that side had got.

No no, I insist we do this all over again

Remember it’s either reduced to or reduced by 10%, and damn it’s critical to our season. We either get promoted or relegated depending on how good our Portuguese is.
Time starts, now.

Wouldn't be surprised as Morata has gone to AC Milan for 13 million

To be honest he gets linked with a different club every hour on Twitter. Spurs was gathering a bit of traction yesterday. Still think he's nailed on to leave this summer. Far too many clubs after a top striker. Hopefully will force Arsenal to stop pissing around and activate his release clause.

Crikey £85m for Gyokeres. Worlds gone mad. He’s no Regis. (But I’ll take the cash!!).

Whilst Cyril is up there as one of my favourite strikers of all time. He was never as a prolific goal scorer in comparison to Vik.
Having said that, if someone stamps up £85m for Vik....I'll be celebrating as it means we don't have any pressure to sell Sheaf

By far our weakest positions are GK, LB when JDS plays and RB when MVE doesn't play.

Get those addressed and then anything else is gravy

Yes, but don’t forget Cyrille played in the top flight and was part of perennially struggling teams. For me there’s no comparison but I am biased. They are similar in ways. Turn on the half way line, bounce defenders off them. Gyokeres probably had a better conversion rate but I’ll wager your average CH would have preferred to play against Vik
