Chances are we had a new keeper ready to sign weeks ago after watching Collins deteriorate

Browne is very very likely. Fantastic signing that if we can get it over the line

McCallum also edging closer

That would be bloody lovely. An experienced defender as well and then im happy for the rest to be youngsters who do rainbow flicks etc

Rudoni isn’t helped by the lack of quality around him. Browne would be an unreal signing for us and the type of know how you need to help get you out of this division

I was saying this to a mate the other day. We need experienced solid Champ players who know their way around this division.

Mix that experience with our young flair players and it becomes very tasty!

Heard the same info that saddle did (mccallum and Browne) not longer after he said it and also we’d signed a keeper on a 3 year deal.

Browne is a leader, agree it would be a fantastic signing. It’s well and good signing players ‘to the model’ but it would be foolish to have no experience around them. We’ve lost/losing all our ‘leaders’ this summer and that’s assuming Sheaf stays.

However, I am confused, why does McCallum want to rejoin us? That would be a better signing than Burrows, he’s established himself as a good LB in the division defensively.

Apologies my poor attempt at dry humour. I actually think this would be a solid signing. PNE haven't shown any ambition for years hence hes looking for something new by sounds of it.

If I recall correctly one of the only games where Vik was quiet was against him, can’t remember which just remember him having nothing in terms of good chances

He was good against Gyokeres in both play off games right up until he got booked along with his centre back partner. That booking really opened the game up for us

I really don't want Bidwell to go. So superior to JDS I just can't get my head around it.

Well, JDS is under contract for 3 seasons and Bidwell’s expires next year. He’s obviously a solid player and he doesn’t want to be a backup option.

The people saying ‘get rid’ of JDS as if it’s an easy task. Even if we let him go for a free, someone needs to pay his wages.

If you ignore all context maybe. In context it’s obvious why he’d move on.

Good idea signing a PNE player to tell us how they become prime Messi and Ronaldo for 2 games against CCFC while being bang average for the other 44

Be stunned if we were looking to offload Lati

Robins clearly trusts him and despite being raw in a few areas has an excellent attitude and plenty of strings to his bow

McCallum would be an excellent signing and makes so much sense

Free wise ? Cuz I can give you a gazillion names if not My personal top choice for a non left footed first team cb is also McNair if that helps. We need some solid experience in the back, Fadz has left a gaping hole in the back

I really like McNair as a player, would have been near the top of my list in a back 3, but I'm not convinced about him in a 4 & the recent injury record is obviously a concern.

Tyrese Campbell, just released by Stoke, is one who is extremely talented & I've always admired his skillset. Really lost his way at Stoke but could be the kind of project MR & AV would relish.
