Tavares had come from Rochdale and was playing league games for them
Totally unfair to lump Tavares in with the other two who both failed to make any impact.But Tavares, Costello, Lusala, etc were mostly rotting in the reserves of league clubs it being released by Prem teams. I think going for lads who have come through is a better bet at this age.

Di Trolio had a good spell at Welling last season too.Riccardo di Trolio played a full season at National South level at 17 when we signed him.

I really am imagining some of the likes of
Howley, Di Trolio, Dausch, Obikwu to be around the squad.
He was back training with the squad in the last week of the season as the club posted pics of him back on the grass so I'd think he's fit to start from the off.I'd be surprised if Sakamoto is ready to start games after that long out, even if he gets plenty of mins. in friendlies.
I like Andrews just because he looks like an Aldi-brand Bellingham. Never seen him play more than 5 minutes.Also Kai Andrews. For no other reason than a gut feeling I think he'll break through to the first team. Also smashing all the senior players in the bleep test ain't a bad sign.
