How do we get over the wages, losing previous stars because can't break the structure?

I think we need some defenders. Paddy McNair is available, good seasoned pro at this level.
@Tea & Busquets who else could we potentially look at?

McNair has had a bad year for injuries and a big wage. Would be a gamble but a good player nonetheless. Think there could be better long term options out there.

Simples, we offer them affordable wages, and a bonus for finishing in the top 6, and another big juicy fat bonus if we get promoted.

Was told a few are already done. No names but i suspect McCallum and Browne would be good shouts.

Browne comes as a ready made captain and a more athletic LB is needed, so definitely makes sense.

No idea but considering we are saving 40k a week off the back of Moore Kelly and Callum leaving i think Browne and McCallum can be brought in within that before any fees etc get paid later in the window

I would like to go for Binks if its possible, he has something about him and can ping a 60 yard ball which a lot of center backs cant. Desperate to play for us as well by all accounts.

I'd take Ali McCann as well, he's out of contract and would be a very useful squad player for us.

Can see us going in for Dolan again. Lad I know who works for Blackburn mentioned we were eager to get him in January. With us seemingly going for OOC players early in the window, it makes sense

We could have Mbappe, Messi and Haaland - we’d still lose 2-0 at Deepdale

If Alan Browne is possibly coming in, then are we expecting Sheaf to leave?

Absolutely, cannot sign everybody for big money, I know wages cost a bob or two but to pick these two up on a free would be top work by the club.

Thats my worry.

Probably as decent a replacement as we could expect. Hopefully we'll seem them both line up together though.

Would be delighted with MacCallum back. Hasn't kicked on like I expected him to at Norwich, but cosidering we sold him for £3m, loaned him for 18 months of that deal, and then get him back on a free, whilst he's still only 23... Brilliant business

Binks will be on big wages in Italy, he wants to come back to UK but fee could be an issue. Therefore cheaper options out there

Browne will be the Hamer replacement surely.

See a midfield of Sheaf Browne and Torp next year.

To have our starting LB and starting CM sorted so early in the window, and for free also, would be brilliant.

A midfield of Torp, Browne and Sheaf with back up option of Eccles and one more to come in would be immense

Can't see Torp replacing Eccles any time soon, I still have nightmares thinking about that first half performance at Brum !

Torp is a decent option from the bench, unless he can improve quite a bit in pre-season.

we have that option on a Peterborough player too with Hector Kyprianou being named previously, so if thats the case we're looking strong.
