Yeh proper bad take that. Our forward options would be outrageous.
Interested to know what we'd be paying, he's quite difficult to put a price on.

That's fair enough, I wouldn't sell him for that.

Although true I would have preferred a proper like-for-like replacement.

we have learnt by now not to take as gospel the fans of a players former cub right?

remember Swansea fans laughing as we'd paid Brighton a fee for Vik

Not sure where the Asante rumour is from but if we are in for him he adds something different I don’t think we have right now - pop the ball behind a defence and he’ll get onto it

He was brilliant for them mid season and tailed off near the end. If we was poor mid season and brilliant form end of the season then they would be talking differently

Imagine Mason-Clark and Thomas-Asante coming on rather than bloody Dasilva and Godden. It would be incredible depth yet people on here still fucking whinge.
Get this done then we can start beefing out other parts of the team.

Hopefully see this happen over the next couple of days. Would be a shrewd addition. Where's this keeper at?

So we have effectively replaced Binks with Binks, replaced COH with Rudoni, gained EMC and Rodriguez and lost Kelly, Moore, Fadz, Eghosa, Stretton and Rus. Our squad size is now smaller than when we finished the season with. I really hope that there are some incomings coming soon. The incoming so far look quality and its exciting hence the baited breathe for more. DK means business.

Some clubs in the Championship are yet to make any signings. It’s fair to say we are ahead of the curve a bit.

The thing is my mate told me he rated him a while ago so the opinion is not that of someone bitter that their player might move on.

I don’t get the negativity to this signing

Our forward depth would be ridiculous

Tatsu
Rodrigues
MVE on occasion

Simms
BTA

Wright
EMC

how much would all those be worth when you combine it

We arent going to sign a superstar number 9 are we as we have Simms. We need someone with different attributes that offers something different

He only has a year left on his contract, so I guess they may reconsider that type of offer or even lower now.

He's a better standard than I thought we might go for in this position. I'm pleasantly surprised. Tyrese Campbell would have done me.

It is feasible we could be making a triple change of Torp/Rudoni EMC and BTA after 60 to change a game

should stand us in good stead

I still think we need one more attacking option down the right, ideally someone who can do both like Camara. We’re counting on tatsu starting again as he left off, and who’s to know how ready Rodrigues is

Is there reputable sources on the BTA? Or are we just whipping ourselves into hysteria with no basis again?

They were on the pay roll, so costing us wages that are now available.
Just because they didn't play doesn't mean we can't replace them with players who could challenge.

you could get someone else with Moores wages. But the combined wages of the others wouldnt even pay for anywhere near half a championship footballers wages

One slight downside could be the fact he has just got into the Ghana national team. With this being an AFCON season, the club could lose him during a very busy period. It would be typical for us to get injuries and suspensions during the same period.

I thought WBA had new owners who were loaded. Why would they need to sell if that's the case?
