Did we though?Maybe but we very nearly signed Stamenic who’s obviously now at a prem team, I think that’s exactly the sort of player we should be after, doesn’t cost the earth, already plays at a good level but also has a lot of potential. These players are definitely out there, it’s just whether our scouts can find them and whether another team beats us to the punch or not.

Both clubs can counts the sale as £4 million 'profit' immediately but the £4 million they spent can be spread over the duration of the contract.
So on the accounting books it will count as £4 million revenue for each club but only £1 million spent (if a 4 year contract), leaving both clubs as +£3 million for ffp purposes

It will be interesting to see who replaces Liam Kelly as club captain. I assume its likely to be Sheaf unless an announcement is delayed which may indicate either movement of Sheaf or a ready made personality coming in.

I am normally first to challenge when people say that things are facts when they are an opinion! However, this one could actually be a fact although I would have thought only Stamenic would know!Which is why my view on this is not a fact. It’s an opinion.
