I think we can supplement the 4/5 players you’ve mentioned with free agents, there’s a lot of big names out of contract. Brooks and Peck will attract interest but will be expensive and better suited to a team who can afford to buy players who aren't quite ready yet. £30m when he’s going into his last year of contract seems steep. He’s a good player but not worth that for me.

Teams trying to survive as we will be can’t be going in for prospects in general, that’s for established clubs. as long as he's still out ahead for 'most expensive flop'The big question is, how far down the 'most expensive ccfc signing' list does Craig Bellamy fall after the summer. Get that fucker as low down as possible.
